you certainly have lots of time to think this one through. why don't each of you keep a list of your favorite girls' names and when you are about 7 months along, check the lists and see what names are matching.

Get a baby name book, one of you go through it first and mark off names you really like and think are okay (maybe one tick for okay, two for great). Then have the other person go through the book, and mark off the names they like in the same manner. See if any match up, or if one of you would be able to live with a name that is the other's favourite.
I could suggest a heap of names that I like, but I don't know your tastes. Personally, I named my girls Isabel Rosemary and Lily Diane. I love old-fashioned names, and their middle names are their grandmother's names.

1st the woman has the right to select the name unless is a horrific name. Name should be in harmony w/the last name. As a start find out the meaning of a few names, their root, origin, pronunciation, possible nick names that would apply in the future. I love the name Veronica, Angelica, Damaris (that's a start) GOOD LUCK!
