Pregnancy & Parenting - 21 February 2007

I am 4 weeks pregnant now but its my first pregnancy and im really not sure whether i have to go and see my doctor now or after 3 months. Some people r telling me now and some say later, anyone else got any advice for me?

I have been invited to a baby shower where I will know most of the people attending, and have already purchased the gift and everything, but have since found out that my husband has to work, and I have no one to babysit my 10 month old daughter as everyone who could keep her is also gonig to the shower... is it ok to take her to the shower with me? She is a very well-behaved baby (as long as no one tries to take her from me to hold her - that separation anxiety thing) and I most likely would not stay long since she would be with me.

What do you all think? Thanks in advance for your advice...

My daughter's name is Kaitlyn. My husband and I were in a discussion about the short versions of this name with this spelling.

Would it be Kaity, Katie, Katy...?

And would it be Kait or Kate?

did anyone hear the news yesterday a man killed a woman, her son and her unborn child in a hit and run and only got 7 years what was the bloody judge thinking does a person life in this case three lifes mean nothing in this country any more. what must the family of this poor woman be thinking. I would wait for him to come out of prison and kill him myself and if these stupid judges don,t get to grip with the real world this is what people will be doing and who can blame them
