The "Just Say No" campaign as part of the "War on Drugs" began during the early 1980s, under the Reagan Administration, and was championed by First Lady Nancy Reagan.

Yet - at the same time, the CIA was involved in cocaine trafficking in Central America during the Reagan Administration as part of the Contra war in Nicaragua - and was also most likely involved in cocaine sales in the U.S. - possibly leading to the Crack Epidemic which began around the same time.

So - the same government that promotes a "War on Drugs" and a "Just Say No" program is also directly involved in drug trafficking.

Please explain how I'm not supposed to be completely disturbed by this.

The info about the CIA and cocaine is not crazy conspiracy theory, by the way. This has been well investigated & researched by the FBI, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (the Kerry Committee), as well as investigative journalists.

The US should dismantle Iran, the source of our present engagement in Iraq.

I want to get a laptop from walmart this Black Friday. I here they will be about $398 for a HP ze2308wm Notebook....Last year walmart did this and swarms of ppl crowed the store and they ended up being pepper sprayed......I want this computer....so any tips would be nice...

Let's talk peace,and bring those troops home, they do not want us there anymore because we are bombarding them on a daily basis,and causing alot of uprising from the insurgents and parties. We will never see the end,it's already infiltrating other countries.
What about theOzone layer? With all those testing of missiles and bombs,it's destroying the world and our children will not be able to enjoy this planet, now you see more deadly tornadoes F5 catagories something is causing all this phenomena.
The debt that is going to burden the future generation, the cost,the illnesses, stress, after effects on the soldiers, there surviving families reaction. Bring them home now......

They all work in defense contacting and government Jobs , most are former military collecting pensions and six figure incomes in debt to the hilt with 700,000- 1.5 million dollar homes . All of them are in a panic over the democrats getting in office and are saying as long as we win in 08 things will be fine but we need to organize and make sure we all vote the right guy in .
With the concern of republicans on the finances of only 36% of Americans , those in government and those who collect from the government ,why are they always bashing the poor and welfare people when all of their lives they have collected from uncle sam .

I want answers from Republicans on this. We know through Rove's talking points and the statistics that federal revenues from income taxes have increased at roughly 14% over the last year. We know that GDP Growth has been about 3-4%, with pretty small inflation. How did we achieve the tax revenue growth of 14% with only 4% economic growth and with decreasing tax brackets? Hint: Has nothing to do with unemployment and the additional jobs in the economy. Those jobs are reflected in the GDP number.
