which is it? If they are criminlas, they should be hunted down, and tried and convicted and punished. And there should be more police work, and less brute force. If they are 'organized' their actions should be punished according to the geneba conventions. So which is it?

Do you honestly think that the Iraqi people should not be able to choose a government for themselves?

Note: Saddam was not chosen. He forced his way to power.

and for those of you that say, "they never asked for help". Do you honestly think that they didn't want to be free?

When words and actions disagree, believe actions.
When rhetoric and reality disagree, either rhetoric is wrong or reality is wrong, and reality is Never wrong.

I have heard people call others 'terrorist sympathizers' for trying to understand how terrorists operate. Does trying to understand a criminal mind make you a criminal?

Don't tell me that Christians are as violent. OK, they might have killed over cartoons and insensitive statements ......A THOUSAND YEARS AGO or so. Jesus christ, do you know how many people make fun of christianity and burn flags and kill-the-pope cartoons and holocaust cartoons? I don't see Israel cutting off heads or jews doing any of that.

OK, and don't say 'well what would you do if they were invading your country wouldn't you be mad?' The pope said something, in ITALY. The cartoons were made..OVERSEAS.

You can't come up with one excuse for their violence, it's childish, ignorant and wrong. We have freedom of speech here, we can say what we want in our own country(or countries). They can rant in their own countries, not burn churches and kill people.

Gosh - SVen brought it to everyone's attention that it was only a few "hundred" people that died - so that makes it much better. WHEW! That is a relief. That makes it all different, knowing ONLY a mere FEW HUNDRED died instead. That makes it all better. Thanks SVen, for your clarification on that.

I have never come across a news channel that is so repetitive, everything from the adverts to the news reports. Every day the news team at CNN focus on a tiny handful of newsworthy events and batter these stories to death with constant reports. The story about the possible death of Bin Laden lasted for two or three days and its mere speculation at best. I would rather see old interviews from Larry King Live then sit through another report of Tony Blairs last speech at a Labour conference and I am British. Agree?

By way of deception thou shalt make war:
Mossad's original motto: be-tahb?l?t ta`aseh lekh? milkham?h (Hebrew: בתחבולות תעשה לך מלחמה, "For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety." - Proverbs XXIV, 6 or the more recognised translation "By way of deception thou shalt make war") was changed recently as part of the Mossad's public 'coming out' to another Proverbs passage: be-'鹮 tahb?l?t y?p?l `?m; ?-tesh?`?h be-r?v yo'鴳 (Hebrew: באין תחבולות יפול עם, ותשועה ברוב יועץ, "Where no counsel is, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." - Proverbs XI, 14)
