I haven't read it but I'll tell you that all the authentic Jews are against the Zionist Israel. Israel is truly the terrorists, you should watch some documentaries on what they've done to the Palestinians, it's disgusting. I know a lot of Jews against what they're doing and you guys should know that the concept of Israel goes against Judiasm because of the way it was created by the US and UN. Also, they hold so many Lebanese prisoners that have been in their jails for over 17 years, so don't act like the capturing of two Israeli's for negotiations of just 7 main prisoners in Israel was the beginning of this war that is STILL going on right now with the laws being imposed on Lebanon, a state that would have fallen by now if it didn't have Hezbollah to back it up, support it, build schools, and defend it from Israel, which is just another installment in the One World Government being set up by the NWO. They won't stop messing with Lebanon until it's gone. And that's sad, and that's why I'll be going there next year to experience it again before it's gone. And if I die there, it was God-willing. I'd rather be there than to be here in the U.S. where I feel no freedom because I'm being chained by lies and misguidance that I need to break free from everyday in order just to be a rational human being. I felt more at peace when I was there waking up to bombs every morning this summer. I had no stress until I came back and saw how Bush's administration and Rupert Murdocks "news" channels twisted the truth and got most of you to hate something that you don't even understand. It's too bad that the obsession of money is what rules the world. Peace.

You already formed your opinion. You have stated that you consider this article brilliant.

You'll get my opinion anyway.

Have you ever heard the term 'self hating Jew'? This is a prime example. I can give proof that many of these claims are false and I live in California. Israel targets dangerous extremists, and the extremists hide among citizens. Palestinians travel the same roads as Israelis inside and outside the 'fence' and Israeli settlements have been abandoned. The treatment of Palestinians stems directly from the Palestinian attacks on Israel's innocent citizens. This brilliant intellectual is no different than our own professors teaching anti American BS on American soil. If you bother to investigate their claims you'll discover their rhetoric are filled with lies, half truths, and misleading references to real events.

hear for yourself the agenda of the Palestinians and neighboring Muslims at my blog under the title of 'In Their Own Words.' http://judgeright.blogspot.com

The intellectuals motivation for these claims, notoriety and sales of their books. (personal gain) This is a traitor.

Maybe 40 is the magic number for Israel and they decide to establish peaceful relations with their neighbors. After all, the US is set to take over as the "Evil Empire" given all the references to Satan made by Hugo Chavez. Israel is going to look like the good guy and the US will look like the bad guy. Maybe Israel will launch military strikes against the US and blame them on Iran....

Humanist - the last saying was in jest. I was illustrating the paradigm shift between the US and Israel - how Israel is looking "good" and the US is looking "bad" in the eyes of the world. I hope no more "false flag" attacks take place like the USS Liberty.

The American people weigh ALL of the facts and not just the opinions in that 'article'. The article fails to mention any responsibilites that the Palestinians have to demonstrate that they can live in peace nor any responsibilities that Israel's Arab neighbors have to show that they too can live in peace. Thank you for half (hmmm...one third) of the story.

Olmert:
Olmert's convergence plan, whereby Israel would
unilaterally withdraw from scores of isolated West Bank settlements while strengthening the major settlement blocs, is expected to cost as much as $10 billion.
Bush:
A day after US National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley said President George Bush will not discuss the details of the convergence plan when he meets Prime Minister Ehud Olmert next week, but would rather prefer to allow him to outline his vision, officials said the US has also informed Israel not to ask for funding for the withdrawal plan.

The truth hurts. There are many that are so conditioned to believe that their country never does any wrong, that they virtually become automatons. You then get subjective insults like anti-****ever, traitor, terrorist lover etc.

There are some of us however, that believe that whilst we love and revere the place of our birth we are not blinded to the truth. The intellectual in your article is one such individual. The world has shown remarkable progress in the past, not because of the converted, but because there are people who are prepared to put their heads above the firing line.

Karpenisi... I hope that was said in jest because the truth is not too far away from your comment. USS Liberty.

Christians support Israel because they don't want their holy sites in the hands of the people they hate so much, Muslims.

I don't think we should support Israel at all. That was the main reason 9/11 happened.
