I have never come across a news channel that is so repetitive, everything from the adverts to the news reports. Every day the news team at CNN focus on a tiny handful of newsworthy events and batter these stories to death with constant reports. The story about the possible death of Bin Laden lasted for two or three days and its mere speculation at best. I would rather see old interviews from Larry King Live then sit through another report of Tony Blairs last speech at a Labour conference and I am British. Agree?

Yep. Cable news has become just that--Cable News, which puts it on the same level as most other cable channels intellectually (like E!, for example). There are more advertisements than news, but all the little capitalists on here should see no problem with that; CNN just wants to make money--how could that be wrong? When people's sense of ethics are determined my money, we are in sad shape.

I agree with you! It seems that whether you watch CNN or headline news, after 30 minutes ,it repeats.I really miss international news! It was nice to get a new perspective on how the people in the world feel about us and get news that has not been watered down.I also look for news on the web, where we have more options. Thanks for the question.

CNN reports the news very well and accurately. CNN is a very reliable source for information, as well as the AP and The New York Times. I'm mostly on CNN.com.

I find that's true for all cable news channels. However CNN's new guy gary beck is totally out in space paranoid to the max! This is the kind of guy I expect to find on FOXNEWS or on some conservative radio talk show not on CNN. I hope they dump that twit soon.
