Osama could be retired from terrorism for all I care. There is no statute of limitations on murder. I want his a** brought back to the US in chains. I don't get any sense of anger from Bush when he quotes Osama (which he has been doing a lot of lately). I want Bush to look into the camera, look the American people in the eye, and say he's going to get that SOB no matter what. And I want him to sound like he means it and is not motivated by political considerations.

Both? I believe in politics everything is a "smear". If Bush was only looking for Bin Laden then he would be "obsessed with the leader instead of the movement". That's an election year, for ya.

It says to me that if we're actually serious about stopping terrorism, we should be chasing after those who are actually responsible for it. War is not something to do just to have something to do or just to look fearsome. Go after bin Laden and the gang with the same determination spent on finding Saddam, get it done, get it over, and I think there'd be a lot more support for the president than he's getting with the mess in Iraq that seems to be going nowhere.

I was under the impression that the left was accusing Bush of planning 9/11.

why would finding him be a smear campaign?
it is something that has to be done and should have been done along time ago.
What is it with Republicans, why do you think that whenever rational citizens ask for something to be done, you think we are out to "smear" you?

I wish we had him too. I asked a question involving this just today - the one about "non-partisan" or whatever.
