that's just it he wasn't thinking. in my opinion here is this oil rich country (hummm isn't bush an oilman) let's take it over then put some puppet in place to do his bidding and then he can control the oil and raise gas prices. isn't kind of odd that all of a sudden gas prices are going down? then once we finish this country let's move on to iran (another oil rich country)

Bush and Cheney were thinking about lining their pockets with money. They are both big businessmen you know, and naturally that comes first. Bush has been a rancher/oilman/politician most of his life, and Cheney well he's been in big business ripping off his employees and the rest of the world for years. It wasn't about freeing people from Saddam Hussein, it was about finishing what his father tried to start in the early 90's. Look at all the contracts given to corp. owned by Cheney. If you dig deep you'll find 'em

Things aren't going well in either of the Countries Bush has invaded, since the World knows of the elections coming up. Regardless America still needs new leadership in Congress, since they have been a lame duck for Americans with George Bush's overstatement of power.

I think we were right to defend ourselves, and to remind these people that they can not get away with horrific acts like 9/11.
Sadly it is the innocent who suffer most as the loonies who carry out the suicide bombings don't care about the consequences to their people.

You may not realize this but part of the intent is to try and help the people of these nations to rid themselves of the tyranny of despotic leaders like Saddam Hussein, whether that are grateful or not, take a look at history and at leaders like Joseph Stalin who slaughtered not thousands like Hussein but millions of his own people, yes I know its not happening here in the west, but we have to stamp on these vermin before they get even more delusional about themselves and think they can take on the whole world ( Hitler ), and they most certainly will!!!

George Bush may or may not be a good president, but at least in a democracy the people have the right to tell him that and ask him to leave through the power of the vote, and this is what we must preserve at all costs!!!

Well they see anyone who isn't a radical Muslim as the anti-Christ so we really weren't in danger of making them hate any more than they already do.

Because of Irag/Afghanistan the terrorists are less cohesive, we are fighting them over there and not here. Also we've gone five years without another successful attack on our soil. Girlie, we are very very blessed.

I can understand Afghanistan. That is where Bin Laden is or was hiding, In a cave system set up and supplied by the Americans. Iraq just goes to show Bush's level of intelligence.

Oil. Profits for his big oil buddies. Oh, and Dick Cheyney's friends in Haliburton were paid very well for the sacrifices they had to make.

Of course, any suggestion that GWB was paid handsomly for his efforts would be very improper.

another dumb liberal strikes!

first, we aren't trying to take thier land... if we wanted it, we could have had it long ago.

second, what we gained is a democratic foothold in the middle east, a land of severely oppressive tyranny and religious fanaticism (not to mention a little thing called terrorism).

third, who cares if the "whole world" is mad at us... f' them.

Team America, F*&% Yeah!!!

he is thinking oil.

he is thinking money.

he is thinking of a place in history

and he is thinking that he is doing God's will.

but all these statements could be wrong because they imply that Bush was actually thinking.
