Before you say son they don't, yes they do, I am a waitress at a diner in a college town and one of my customer whom is from Iraq told me that the USA pays him $50,000.00/year to go to college here and learn about oil. He also said that they offered him $250,000.00 to become as US citizen, now why do we do this?

Parents want gay penguins book blocked
The concerns are the latest involving "And Tango Makes Three," the illustrated children's book based on a true story of two male penguins — Roy and Silo — in New York City's Central Park Zoo who adopted a fertilized egg and raised the chick as their own.
Complaining about the book's homosexual undertones, some parents of Shiloh Elementary School students believe the book — available to be checked out of the school's library in this 11,000-resident town 20 miles east of St. Louis — tackles topics their young children aren't ready to handle.
Their request: Move the book to the library's regular shelves and restrict it to a section for mature issues, perhaps even requiring parental permission before their child can check it out.

I know this might seem like a crazy question. Anyway, I'm just curious if electoral alliances can be formed for elections. I know about the fusion voting/ electoral fusion bans but is there a state that's against the idea of electoral pacts/alliances. Serious and detailed answers please.

I hate to be one of those people who pushes the abortion debate (as it will undoubtably begin once I post this), but something has been bothering me.

Why do members of the religious right automatically assume that an unwanted pregnancy is the product of having sex sans protection? Why do they think that people who have been raped should have to live with that trauma? Do they not realize that partial-birth abortions are all but completely outlawed, that an average abortion is simply a miscarriage, carried out before a heart has even developed?

And most bothersome of all, how many of those who insist that adoption is the best way, have adopted a child themselves? How many have saved children from the black hole that is the adoption system? Thought so.

What are your arguments against conspiracy theorists?
I am a conspiracy theorist

- and proud of it.

I read many of the anti-conspiracy theory arguments, and every so often, I come across a well written argument which causes me to think about my position.
There is an anti-conspiracy theory on almost every subject, but when we try to put these anti-theories together, there is no coherence. We end up with many disjointed events with no real meaning or significance.
When one understands just how big the conspiracy is, then almost all world events can be understood as a part of a complete world take-over. The big picture is coherent, and fits like a glove to the conspirators MO.

I am trying to find an anti-conspiracy theory which ties together the following world events.

- 9/11
- The Iraq war
- 7/7 - the London bombings
- The Madrid train bombing
- The Bali bombing
- The Lockerbie air disaster
- Private ownership of the Federal Reserve
- The illegal IRS in America
more to come

The president can appoint Supreme Court Judges and Congress can approve them. But which part of legislation approves them? The House of Representatives or the Senate?

In our system, the turnover rate in Congress is less than it used to be in Communist Russia's ruling body, the Politburo. Congressmen are by and large corrupt. Election is based on money. Lobbyists rule, not the people.
Am I being politically incorrect?

I had a client last week to whom I was telling that I had a guy doing my house top to bottom. She expressed some interest in maybe having him do some work for her. Mind you, she is a gay woman who is extremely liberal. The first question she asked me was: "What is his ethnicity?" When I told her, she lost interest. Who is the racist here?

The War monger President Bush has drafted a bill supporting India's nuclear program on May 3rd, 2005. The Bill is in the USA Senate. Should it pass the bill and help India to develop more atomic bombs etc? In my opinion this will escalte the nuclear race in the world. Pakistan is definitley going to respond by developing more nuclear bombs to match Indians. Pakistan hsa shown that it can develop Atomic Bombs without help of USA and allies. The last atomic tests were carried out by India and in response Pakistan did tit for tat. While Inidia's nuclear tests had full backing of USA and Europe which provided not only know how but also machine an material, Pakistan devloped all through its own resources. On one hand Mr. Bush is trying to stop Korea and Iran develop atomic bombs and on the other hand it is trying to make poverty ridden India more atomic! Isn't this a hypocrisy? What is your opinion? What would you tell your Senator which way he should vote?

The govt pumps many times more money into research for women only deceases, than it does for mens. Also, the media, which often works hand in hand with the govt when it sees fit, will have a 100 articles regarding female health, before you see a male 1. Does this all now mean that mens lives are of less value than our ladies are.

Please also bear in mind that mens serious predicaments, amount pretty equally to womens.

I travel for living and let me tell you my fellow Canadians, if you think for moment that American Hotels are waving Canadian flags, then think again!!!!!

I complained to Rodd Resorts last night and made it clear I would not stay there as long as they kept it up "as a hospitality service to our American Neighbors"! FUCKTHAT ****!!!!!!!

Why do we continue to make it easy for a nation filled with self-centered assholes who think we have know nothing. If I see one more American flag that's not on American property here in Canada, I'm going to burn the friggin thing and post it on YOUTUBE!!!! I've had enough of these people to taking my country and its natural resources for granted!!! God knows 'Little Bush' (Harper) is just fueling the fire ... I hate him!

As is the world population is increasing at an alarming rate. The world's resources aren't increasing either. Shouldn't we discourage large families at least for a short period of time say 50- 100 years? I am not arguing for policies like in China, but to stop tax breaks for families with more than two kids.

Why do people immediately think it is unethical to be against large families? Reproduction is a right and responsibility of the parents, not some favor done to the rest of the population who are least concerned if you have kids or not
