I travel for living and let me tell you my fellow Canadians, if you think for moment that American Hotels are waving Canadian flags, then think again!!!!!

I complained to Rodd Resorts last night and made it clear I would not stay there as long as they kept it up "as a hospitality service to our American Neighbors"! FUCKTHAT ****!!!!!!!

Why do we continue to make it easy for a nation filled with self-centered assholes who think we have know nothing. If I see one more American flag that's not on American property here in Canada, I'm going to burn the friggin thing and post it on YOUTUBE!!!! I've had enough of these people to taking my country and its natural resources for granted!!! God knows 'Little Bush' (Harper) is just fueling the fire ... I hate him!

Canada has become an incredibly rich country because we have a good relationship with a very large and economically potent neighbour. I have to ask exactly what is it you sell while you travel? Is it made entirely in Canada? What do you eat in those hotels you visit? Did it all come from Canada? I would imagine the answers to all those questions will do nothing but embarass you after having gone on that rant.

I won't disagree with your assertion that many Americans have quite an inexcusable lack of knowledge and tact towards and about us. It is by no means all of them and it is their problem. If you are to respond to this in the manner you have here, you're only making the problem worse. Yes, you're in Canada, and our flag should be flown high, proud, and prominent, but there is nothing wrong with having the Stars and Stripes along side. It is an important symbol to a lot of people and it ought to be shown respect.

In other words what I'm saying is grow up.

PS: Steve ain't great, but at least he's trying. In my books that automatically makes him a better PM than Mr. Dithers or Captain Shawinigan. Too bad the Liberal Party doesn't seem too concerned about providing us with a better option for the next election.

You sound like some of the parents of the hockey teams (peewees) we went play in Canada. Booed our team and anthem for no reason except that we were american. I am smart enough to realize that that was not representative of all Canadians but now I feel I agree with you our flag should not be in your country. I also know that we will not go back so if you do see a flag I didnt send it and if you see an american it wont be me.

that you're French and asking this question isn't outstanding to me because France is readily turning out to be yet another failed socialist state and would not yet understand it. The British did not provide us representation in parliament earlier levying taxes on us to pay for the French and Indian conflict which not in any respect honestly threatened our territory effectively besides and as for causes to be happy with america of u . s . a . of america, our u . s . donates extra to global charity in step with capita than the different u . s . contained in the global, is the really u . s . that guarantees the right to self protection, and property rights. with the remarkable exception of Israel and Turkey.

I have also seen Hotels in the US with Canadian Flags. Maybe it depends on the Hotel itself.

Ummm, maybe I'm being naive here, but what does displaying a flag as a courtesy have to do with being self centered, knowing nothing, and taking the U.S. and it's resources for granted? I'm confused.
