Is this beyond the purview of an Attorney General?
Is he trying to say there is criminal action going on, or is he trying to place himself above the legislature?

If the USA is a democracy, why does the President and Congress spend billions and billions of borrowed money on a war based on what is now know as blatant lies. The same thing started the U.S. involvement in Vietnam, LIES. Is this the same as the Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire? Can the USA keep spending BILLIONS OF DOLLARS it BORROWS EVERYDAY, on war to make the defense contractors rich Indefinately? Who will eventually have to repay the debt? Our Grandchildren? Will our governmemt eventually collaspe like the U.S.S.R's did because we have no control over the Republicans or Democrats. All get bought by the corporations don't they?

Since powerful lobbyist who represent the people who manufacture war weapons have billions of dollars to buy the President, Senators and Representatives, would it not be better to require the Governors of each state to vote on when and where to go to war? Does it not seem apparent that both the Democrats or Republicans in Washington are totally powerless to stop the war in Iraq because of someone more powerful than they are? It is now clear that the war was started based on lies but yet no one is talking about impeachment. Are they all dirty and owned by the large corporations and defense contractors? If we had a draft, there would be riots and protest all over America but since the young men are offered large sums of money to go to war (mercenaries), the defense contractors get richer and richer from death, maiming, and destruction. The Vice President's "former" buisness associates are making billions on this war. Are my statements true?

I saw a news story where the EU plans to boycott climate talks until the U.S. makes cuts in energy consumption. Who the hell cares first of all? More importanty, is this what things are coming to... Are we going to allow the EU or UN or anyone to dictate to us what our energy consumption should be.

You people need to realize that industry, our economy, and any type of progress in this country will be impacted negatively by ANY policy which puts limits on energy consumption. Also, countries that we compete with on the global market, like China will never agree to do the same. These people are not anti-pollution - effectively, they are anti-progress and anti-United States.

Your Thoughts???

they say that GMA is the most corrupt president? Do you have any evidence in saying that so? If it's true, why blame only the president when in fact many politicians from the opposition as well as from the administration are also doing it?

Why does America still refuse to ratify Kyoto?

As one of the richest nations in the world, I don't understand why they still refuse to fight climate change. Given that 137 countries have signed inclusive of India and China, the USA remains the only notable exception from the treaty.
America is a very rich nation and could quite easily afford to turn 'green'. Imagine the ramifications if America curbedtheir military spending and used that money to help turn America 'green'.

Only recently, Australia signed Kyoto, to my disappointment it hadnt happened any earlier. How do Americans feel about this?
Are you keen to turn 'green'?

Recently Mike Huckabee , (R) suggested that we should toss out the IRS and have a national sales tax of 23% , on the surface this seems like a great alternative to the current, confusing, time consuming system we have. He suggests no more income tax . He outlines his idea on his website. Do you think that this would be a good replacement of the current system ? Why or why not ?
