I went to send a few Christmas cards with gifts card(s) inside and stuck between 4-5 stamps on them just in case because they weren't regular letters. When I went to drop it in the box it says mail over 13 ounces won't be delivered.IDK how much they weighed, but how many ounces DOES one stamp cover anyway??i'm sure my cards weren't that much but I want to know how much each ounce is.Thanks!

the 41 cent stamp covers 1 ounce. A typical small card and envelope will weigh about 1 ounce.

A 41 cent stamp covers 1 ounce. Each additional ounce requires an additional 24(?) cent stamp.
