Usually by now any question has 13 answers. Mine has not one. I guess it means that no one really knows anything substantial about the candidates they support.

And then let's talk about Halliburton... ok?

Next in the alphabet is the non-issue of Hsu.

Did Hsu win all the contracts on Californias energy?
Did Hsu win all the contracts on New Orleans for their support?
Did Hsu win all the contracts on Iraq?

I think not... but lets see what you have to say...

If so, can you tell me what the record of leadership is for any of the Presidential candidates?

My 82 year old grandma with Alzheimers and dimensia can vote yes or no on issues, just like any Senator or Congressman. What record of leadership does Thompson or Clinton or any of the others have? What bills did they write and fight to get passed to solve American problems?

You get the idea. What's their Leadership Record?

What's repetitive about most presidential candidates is there detachment from what you would call a "normal" life. How can a man with multiple homes including a compound in North Carolina totaling over 28,000 square feet tell anyone to conserve energy in their home? (Watch Edwards' answer to Bill Maher's question on the Democratic Candidate Mashup.) No candidate will walk the walk. The only moral values these people have are based on polling statistics.

The first time I ever saw Barack Obama in an interview, I wished that he would someday run for president; and since then I have always supported him.

But after listening to some of John Edwards debates, I am REALLY starting to lean towards his views. I believe in everything he's talking about from education, to healthcare, and the war in Iraq...if he isn't too good to be true, he definitely stole my vote!

It has taken many hours of watching tape, and I'm hoping you have noticed too, because it seems to be a trait that all the Democrat front runners have. Every time I see their lips move, they lie. Has anybody else noticed this?

Every two years people complain about the low voter turnout for elections which recently has ranged between 49-56%. Well that's because elections are held on Tuesday! With our economy today, most people aren't willing to, nor can they afford to take off of work to go vote, even though most would like to.

Why not change the date to a Saturday...maybe the first Saturday of November? That could easily shoot the percentage up to 80-90%. What would need to be done in Washington to make this happen?

Elections were originally set on Tuesday for agricultural reasons. But these days that is hardly an issue with the majority of Americans.

Is there anyone who feels the same as myself? Is there something that can be done to make this happen or do most politicians not want to change this for fear of affecting their chances of election/reelection?

Having been criticized by the pundits for not doing his homework, does this new international terrorism intelligence organization proposal bolster Edwards' prospects in the Democratic primaries?

If so, who does he draw support away from?

If not, why would he fail to move up in the polls?

When several million want a given person or party in power, but can never elect them because only Democrats and Republicans will be elected by the other 90 million voters, can they believe that this is a representative government? Would a system that allowed them to send their own representatives to congress be more fair? Is there a way to devise a system which allows any million voters that agree on a candidate to have representation? (There are a couple million libertarians, for example, who never get represented.)

I know that the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is my most cherished privilege and the one defining test I use to determine whether I will vote for a candidate (indeed an entire political party).

If Gore lost in 2000 by a few hundred votes in Florida, could it be that the Florida gun crowd is what tipped the balance in his disfavor? Certainly, they must have amounted to more than a few hundred votes, and surely most of them voted against him.

In this next election, which I predict will be very close, could Hillary lose by a slim margin because of her gun control stance?

Is it worth it to you Dem's to lose over this one issue?

I say, that if the Dem's want us to sacrifice for universal healthcare, they're going to have to sacrifice something themselves and allow us to keep our freedoms. Because, there are more than a few of us (myself included) who vote straight Republican ticket ONLY because of our desire to preserve our 2nd Amendment freedoms.

Thoughts?
