I don't get it. US is rebilding (stick their noses where they shouldn't ) here and there, all over the world..................but they can't rebuild their own, old bridges?
Many bridges in the US were design and build long time ago, for much less cars then we see drive now.
I wonder who will desing and build anything with such low grade level in US (71). People hardly know their ABC's in this country.

How do you think the Constitution should be interpreted; strictly, so as to protect the right of the states to decide controversial matters for themselves, or in an elastic manner, so as to be able to address modern problems?

I would absolutely love to voluenteer for my candidate's campaign for president, but there's one problem: I'm underage and can't do a whole lot.

I live in an urban metro, and thus far, all events have been in the city, which I am not allowed to go to by myself

I am not allowed to pass out fliers door to door or to anyone that I do not know (unless it was at one of these events)

I do not see a whole lot that I can do on the internet, and even if I could, I can only go online from 2-6 Tues, thurs, and from 1-4 on sundays.

Say there is an event in a "safe" part of town: I don't have reliable transportation!

And I cannot set up my own event because my mom is afraid that something will go wrong

My stepdad, mom, brother, and sister-in-law are all racist, so I cannot put up signs at our house...
...which is not even my or my mom's house, giving me even less a right to do it.

Is there anything I can do???

quote
when he plays politics with the lives of our troops, you had better be sure I'm going to respond. And I know that you want to respond too."
If she would bother to consider the ridiculous antics of Harry Reid with over 36000 carded requests for unrelated pork barrel spending attached to the iraq bill....
peanut storage funding attached to defense armor appropriations
several attempts at stalling tactics when veto was clearly declared for stated limits on liberal proposals.
the unilateraly declared surrender by harry reid
and of course the repeated attempts to rewrite the duties of a commander in cheif
WHERES THE RESPONSE TO THE GAME PLAYING BY THE PELOSI/REID REIGIME AND WHY BY USING HER OWN DEFINITION IS GRANSTANDING BY HER PARTY OK, BUT DEFENDING THE CONSTITUTIONAL ROLE OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH BY THE VICE PRESIDENT AGAINST NANCY&CO NOT?

America is like a house of cards, built on lies and deception. As the corruption builds, the peoples faith diminishes. At the same time technology has allowed control of the mass to exceed anything in prior history. The powers that be have mastered the art of manipulation. If they can keep the slandered of living up to a certain point the people will not revolt, thus allowing liberties to slowly slip away day by day, generation by generation.
Leaving a society filled with apathy and little hope.

So my question is this. How much can we fix before we loose the game?... ... jinga

There is alot people who don't vote and such and there is a lot of discussion on here and from Sen. Ohbama's question.

I always had a social studies/civics class, every year until my senior year in high school, because I two of such classes my sphomore year. We have state assesment tests over this stuff. So, I am having a hard time beleiving there is an issue of education. Unless schools are cutting back such programs.

Honestly, I didn't start voting until my second year college. I try my best to educate myself on candiates, but I still feel clueless at times.

Why do we focus so much on the Presidential elections? Everyone focuses on the President. I think people need to be aware of Congress and the such.

I really think we need to put term limitations on legislators to elimnate career politicans. I still recoginze alot faces on C-Span from my little years. I think this will help dilute the two party cock fight and make them compete with the third parties.

when will the non smokers get their heads from up their a***s and stop bowing down to the labour (patronising knowitall) think tanks that realy decides policy in this country,
ps where is the democracy in that?

In 2008, Americans from coast to coast and from all 50 states will be going to the polls to select a new President of the United States of America to replace George W. Bush. Every Presidential Election, they say that it is the most important Presidental Election and I agree with that in 2008 because America will be electing the 44th President of the United States of America.

In your opinion, do you beleive it is important for a young adult to vote for President of the United States of America if they have not interest in politics? Why or why not?
