Where do we (US) going wrong with this rebuilding business?

I don't get it. US is rebilding (stick their noses where they shouldn't ) here and there, all over the world..................but they can't rebuild their own, old bridges?
Many bridges in the US were design and build long time ago, for much less cars then we see drive now.
I wonder who will desing and build anything with such low grade level in US (71). People hardly know their ABC's in this country.

Well, sorry for the misspeling. Well, I speak 3 languages and English language is not my first language, sooo pleasee forgive me for my not so perfect english.

The US government must aggressively inspect its old bridges and repairs must be needed if necessary to prevent another collapse.

The U.S. is being run by corporations and the corporations have more of a financial stake in Iraq right now.
That's what I think anyway based on what I have read and conversations I've had with other people.

If the Iraq war is so important then the draft needs to be reinstated effective immediately. No excuses!
Cheney: I had better things to do than go to War. (Vietnam War that he supported.) What could be more important than fighting for your country? My uncle fought in Vietnam and he had better things to do. He's a college professor that makes a real difference in his students' lives. He teaches in Philadelphia. rebuilding bridges cost money, but sticking their noeses bring money.
