In my case I am a conservative and see these idiots come on here and call Bush that and this, claim our government did 9/11, and hope we lose in Iraq so they can claim we were wrong etc etc....

Sadly the far right has its idiots too like the anti Gay religous crowd that was trying to protest servicemens funerals.

What do you think when you open a question here and its from these wackos' on the deep end? Do you feel differently when they are on your side or the other? Which side has more? I feel bad when I see right wingers since I consider myself a hard line right winger. The left group always intrigues me since I thought the left believed in more love then hate?

I have a daughter who is owed child support (she is 3). He has 2 other children by 2 different mothers. They already have orders for child support on the 2 other children (3 different children, 3 different mothers). What is my daughters percentage? My daughter is the middle child if that make a difference. He hasn't given any money for 34 months and has had 4 different jobs since then, how is that added up for retro?
He is also wanting standard visitation (every other weekend). He hasn't visited her in 35 months. What can I request the visitation be until she knows him well enough to have standard visitation? He visits one of his children every other weekend and the other child gets a visit from him whenever he feels like it to visit although he has an order to visit the child every other weekend.

OK, well, here are a few questions I came up with and I would love it if I could get some REAL answers, and not bogos ones, thank you.

1) How does being an Eagle Scout compare to someone who is not Eagle in terms of getting into an academy?

2) How does being a black belt compare to someone who is not Eagle in terms of getting into an academy?

3) In a prep-school for one of the various academies, do you go for one year? Also, is that one year right after your senior year at Hish School?

4) Is there a set amount on how many nominations you can get?

5) How much do sports effect your chances on getting an application?

6) Would being in JROTC during your High School years have an effect on getting in?

7) I have a -3.50 myopia in both eyes and 20/20 vision with contacts, must I apply for a medical waiver?

8) Would being in top physical shape in all aspects: swimming, running, overall strength; would that have an effect on my chances on getting in?

What the issue is with Israel and Palestine?

It's about OCCUPATION. Israel is occupying the land of Palestine and the palestinians want them off. They are fighting the occupation.

NOW...Israel is probably going occupy Lebanon.

If Israel STOPS the occupation and withdrawls from their land, then the fighting (or resistance) will cease.

When the British came to the Americas, the natives fought the occupation.
Anytime any country is occupied by another country, there is a resistance.

Ok, being my age (13), is there any way that I can be emancipated because of my situation? Or must I wait until I'm 16?
Because I have been living on my own for about 2 months, I support my self off of my social security checks that have lasted me both months, and every month I still have $$ left over from them, and when I get emancipated then I could legally get a job. and if you are simply going to say no, please don't post. The First Amendment grants rights, among others, to petition the government with a list grievances and to peaceably assemble (i.e. protest) .

However, there is nothing that says the government has to listen or take any action. Because of special interest groups and corporate-sponsored corruption in both parties, writing your congressmen and donating money to any party could be mostly ineffective. I would go so far to argue that most younger voters are apathetic because they feel that their voice is useless. As we see with elections coming up, Congressmen only now care about the voters and seems short-term.

I am just wondering if I am just cynical or if grass roots and individual participation can continue to be effective or if there are any alternatives that may work better than the traditional forms of participation.

My personal feelings are that people today "vote with their wallet", and by excercising their purchasing power, they in fact vote for different political factions.

Four more marines killed in Iraq Sun Jul 30, 2006

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Four U.S. marines have been killed in action in restive Anbar province, the U.S. military said on Sunday.

The marines, assigned to Regimental Combat Team 7, died on Saturday. No further details were available. The only information is the Marines have been getting hurt day in and day out by the rag tag insurgents. The Marines have been retreating due to being defeated every step of the way. Many Marines, as well as the army men have been seen crying their eyes out due to getting a Butt kicking.

The casualties followed the deaths of four other marines in Anbar, west of Baghdad, on Thursday. They too got their Butts kicked.

U.S. President George W Bush last week boosted U.S. troop levels in Iraq after increasingly violence raised fears that the Marines were getting a hard Butt beating.
