My hamster is about 2 years old. How long do you think they live, and do you have any tips on hamster care. I have 2 hamsters and they both look pretty healthy. Please give any hamster health, care, or ownership tips you have.

I have 2 hamster and I've had a bunch!! I have a bunny and I've had guinea pig but I've never had mice. Are they good pets? Don't say rats are better (not that I have anything against rats but their big) because I know you will!! I want to know what kind of pets mice make. (to all you mice owners) I'm offered two females so should I go get them or not ( A Christmas present from my aunt. She'll take me to pick two mice!!) Please help!!

I'm moving my 4 cats from New York to Indiana. We're planning on making at least one stop, but taking too many stops means a much longer trip. I've got 2 kennels for the back seat of the car, 2 cats in each kennel, but I'm looking for any other advice on how to make the trip easier for them. Also, any suggestions on when to cut off food/water, or if to at all? I'd love to hear from someone who's made a long car ride with pets before.

I was wondering what the process is for starting a non-profit. I live in NC. I would like to start an animal non-profit facility. Currently, people are dropping their unwanted animals on my front porch or local people will call us and we help them out. At this time, we have approxiamately 18 dogs, cats, and fish. We also feed the wildlife--deer, racoons, wild cats, etc. I love the animals but I feel like it would be better if we could open an operation legally that would benefit the animals and the community. Are there certain rules pertaining to animal non-profits? What is the average cost to get set up? I need to know everything this entails before I get started. Any information would be wonderful. Thank you in advance!!!!

He sleeps now, a lot, in the corner//
Do hamsters hibernate???

I have been going to the same horse riding school for 3.5 years and always end up helping out on the riding camps, looking after the horses and lil kids. The thing is I would like to help more often-the camps are in the holidays only-and maybe even get a job helping out. How do I approach this and convince the owner of my riding school? I would also like to mainly work with the horses. Thanks and Happy holidays.
