Yes they are really cute. I think you should get them. It sound like your tired of hamster and want something new.Don't listen to the other people that's their opinion.Their really fun. There are some disadvantages but their is in every pet. If people don't want them as pets. What or they going to do sit in a pet shop all there life?

Wanna be friends. I'm a abercrombie freak too.:) :P :D

I've kept both mice and rats in the past. And you know i'm going to say that rats make the better pets. But thats not what you want to know. Mice do make good pets but males can pong the house out. Females are a better choice. You'll need to handle them loads and loads and keep their pen spotless (I used an old fish tank). Mice are cheery like souls and will keep you entertained for hours on end with their antics.

Mice are nasty pets. They are not that interesting or entertaining. They make a cage stink very quickly. They also have the occasional but gross habit of cannibalism - one mice eats the other.

I have a pet Everglades Rat Snake that eats mice. Every so often, I open the box of mice and find that one has eaten another mouse in the box.

The attached link states that mice only cannibalize a mouse that has died from other causes. I disagree.

no they are not. People will hate to see a mice running around on there floor, they probably won't stay in that house until its caught. But having a mice as a pet isn't a very good idea.

You don't want mice for pet, sometime they carry a desease, and they will eventully become a pest.
