I think its because people think animals are helpless. People think they have no feelings. It freaking pisses me off that people think that!

These horses have not been handled by humans or know what a bucket of food means. How would someone get close enough to coral them to start calming them down.

Why is it that a mixed breed dog, say a Chihuahua and Dachsund are being sold for hundred of dollars? Mutts are just that mutts! Not papered and should not be selling for those kinds of prices. I want a Bicho Frise/Yorkie mix and can't find one cheap.

Only yesterday we bought three ducklings at our local fair. One is mine, one my sister's, and one my brother's.
I have already named mine Magellan, because he's a bit of an explorer. But two duckies remain. We thought about "Fredric" and "Dawn"....but I don't like that very much. Could you guys give some suggestions? Please, nothing stupid or inapropriate.

we went and looked and i saw one i liked which is the one i got. he is a Holland Lop brownish grey. and we paid for him and were gonna come back to get him after we got some food to eat. we came back and i took him out showin the lady the papers to show i wasnt stealing him. but he tilted to one side. i got him Saturday and it is tuesday he doesnt tilt as much but his back legs shake when i hold him like a baby..is this normal? we think he might of had a stroke when we went to get something to eat. the lady told us to keep calling her and she said she has more bunnys that will be weaned in 2 weeks. should i get a girl a nd breed them? hes a show bunny but if he keeps tilting to one side i dont think he will show very well, he won last time for bst of show causee hes calm but i think it will count against him if he tilts. do you think he will get better?

I am thinking of doing a butterfly relase for my wedding, but instead of paying a fortune for one, I am going to buy a kit to grow them yourselves and then relase my own.
How long in advance should I get them so that they wil be hatched and ok to fly before my wedding??
And is the month of my wedding ok for butterflies to survive??
I'm getting married the first week of October

My friend and I found a baby bat in a tub in a closet. We assume that our cat brought it in several days ago. We poured a tiny bit of water into the tub, and he seems to have drank it. So far we have tried feeding him:
Cat food (in a burst of speed, ran away from it)
An apple (has ignored it)

Does anyone know of a food supply we could give to him? He's very small, and a dark brown color with even darker wings. We've already named him Frankie, so we're quite emotionally attatched to him already.

Things you might need to know to help me:
He's an albino, about two inches when he is walking (plus the tail), looks like 1/2 inch when sleeping, LOVES cheddar cheese, refuses to eat swiss, falls asleep in my hand, chews on the outside of sunflower seeds until he gets them open, then he wants nothing to do with them, he was going to be snake food (this snake crawled into our house so we wanted to feed it before we let it go so I told my dad that it would eat 3. I knew it would only eat 2 because it was not that big of a snake. So I put them in 1 at a time and made sure I didn't put him in.), and one last thing (for you people who don't get it) HE is MALE!!!

So judjing by all the information given, can you please help me think of a name for him???
