I am thinking of doing a butterfly relase for my wedding, but instead of paying a fortune for one, I am going to buy a kit to grow them yourselves and then relase my own.
How long in advance should I get them so that they wil be hatched and ok to fly before my wedding??
And is the month of my wedding ok for butterflies to survive??
I'm getting married the first week of October

Here's an entire website with both live butterflies ready to ship, as well as the butterfly "kits" that will allow you to hatch your own larvae.

I recommend calling the 800-number listed to ask them how long it will take for them to mature.
