It seems that the bigwigs of San Francisco are hoping to blame the victims of the tiger attack for the incident. The same officials who denied medical expenses for a zoo employee who was hurt by the same tigress last year. Seems to me the city officials are a bunch of heartless grinches.

Now will people realize that it's not the fault of Islam but the fault of culture run fundamentalists? Benazir Bhutto did nothing against Islam that I am aware of. She had the support of much of the Pakistani people. Even in Quetta, an area that is a hiding place to many extremists, the actual people support her. Islam also does not forbid women from having leadership roles in politics. She was on a jihad fighting terrorism. She was a hero to me. She spoke her mind, she condemned the terrorists, and she also told them she wouldn't give in to their unislamic ways.

Now the people are rioting over her death. They are showing it all over the news. These people are rioting against the extremists. They have had enough of the terror and the anger is coming out in the form of riots.

Will you soften your heart long enough to think that maybe, just maybe, it's the fault of psychotic extremists and not Islam?

She died for democracy and speaking out against extremists. Would you?

On the news tonight , a unfortunate little 7 years old girl lost her life 'driving' one of these 100cc four wheeled off roaders , on a public road , she had got for her Xmas. For one , who in their right mind would let a little 7 year old in charge of a fast machine. For two , let her drive it along a public highway , albeit rural. For three , the dad should have his head examined for allowing this and being there at the time. A very sad case of 'pester-power' in the extreme.

If somebody is sending his/her articles to a private newspaper, should he expect financial incentives regarding his/her journalistic contributions? There is no contract, no prior promises of financial reward, and the newspaper can cancel these articles, I mean they don't have to accept his articles. Should he receive any charges or financial incentives for his/her first articles on a private newspaper or he should wait to publish many articles and after that ask them for financial rewards? What could be the system of financial grants in private newspapers for novice writers?

To lead in each news story a series of beeps is played. Its an obvious attention getting ploy but to me its like nails on a chalk board. Especially since this sound effect is getting over used.

The sound guy must have got a new sound effect on Christmas and is playing with it every time he gets a chance....
