I agree with you, the Democrats are missing the mark , Senator Joseph Biden is the smartest, most capable. Why Not?

I agree Biden is the most experienced Dem running for president. I think the events of today in Pakistan will refocus the dems back on foreign policy experience. The Iowa caucus is just days away I think Biden will do better than the media has been giving him credit. He will be many peoples second choice in Iowa this will give him the all important momentum going into New Hampshire. Biden is frequently out ahead of the other candidates on the issues. Biden warned Musharif personally a couple weeks ago to beef up security of the other candidates...if only he had listened to the specific recommendations that he made about her security detail.

Senator Biden is a smart, thoughtful man, who usually won't give answers in sound bites.
Having run for President before, though (and a while ago), he's not exactly a fresh face. I think that's hurt him in raising money, as Clinton (at least directly) and Obama are new to the Presidential battle and Edwards was moderately successful last time.
Dick Lugar had the same problem for the Republicans last time, and Chris Dodd fits into that classification this time around. I'm sorry these people aren't taken more seriously by voters.

I disagree. I support Mike Gravel... No matter how well Mike Gravel would do, it wouldn't surprise anyone, because Mike Gravel is always so honest. He fought for the government to be honest about the Vietnam War, he's not dodged any questions given to him... He won't hide anything from the American people. He could very well screw up, but at least with him, we would know about it. The others would try to hide it, they'd do something stupid without telling the people first, and try to justify or hide it when it all goes downhill... Not Mike.
