The 47 story re-inforced building apparently came down as the result of a fire caused by twin tower debris. It falls like a controlled demolition. How can this happen?

It always bugs me when car chases are broadcast on the news and the reporter invariably says, "wow that car is going at a very high RATE OF SPEED." Why not just a "high speed," or "fast speed?" Is speed itself not already a rate, as in the rate of distance over time? It's like saying, "I'm going to eat my meal of breakfast now." Am I the only one who thinks this sounds stupid, given that this comes so often out of the mouths of journalists who are supposed to epitimize standard English?

Are you convinced that nuclear power is the answer? What do you think of the show's theory that global warming is not really happening in light of ice at the north pole melting for the first time in history, and glaciers disappearing? Do you attach any signifigance to the fact that the show's sponsors were drug companies that do not want the prices they charge you, the taxpayer, to be regulated? And companies that want legal protection from being sued by injured victims of their products or practices? Do you think they have already begun to propagandize for the Republican Party for the 2008 election? Do you resent being robbed and led around by the nose by unscrupulous manipulators?

Freedom of the press in fine. But on the news film it's clear the news reporters were in the line of fire and didn't move away. They went deeper into the trouble.

My mother was killed by a drunk driver in 1968 and there were 10 of us children. Our picture was posted for two days in the Houston Post and Houston Chronicle will someone help me be able to see if we can find those photos by using our computors. If so thank you so much!!!!!!!

Yes, this pass comment that had made toward the Rutgers'
Women's basketball team has been blown out of proportion. He was comparing the looks of the girls on each team. In which he considered them as rough and nappy headed hoes and Tennessee as pretty. They felt offended that he called them hoes, so, they reacted. It is human for one to defend themselves when being called something in which they are not especially in a negative way and Don Imus has had experience in which he had made racial slurs against Blacks.

Where are we now, as a country, when open dissent it stepped on, and any criticism of our president and the war is seen as a personal attack on our troops?
I would like to direct interested people in Bill Moyer's fascinating and disturbing PBS documentary called 'Buying the War' (http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/btw/watch.html).
It is especially important for anybody in the journalism field to take this in.

Some weird girl is following me around on Yahoo Answers.. It all started about a week ago maybe when she posted a question asking about some missing man.... I pretended to be the man, just as a joke you know, cause other people were prtending too. That's when the stalking started. I left an answer on one of her questions about the missing man [she has posted like 20 questions about it] and i said that I had been Just Kidding before....Idk what her problem is but she answers all the questions I post. And when I answer one of her questions and Im like Why are you following me? She always chooses my answer as the best answer.
