It is Microsoft. It began a partnership with NBC back in the late 90's.
There was some concern about whether NBC would fairly cover anti-trust proceedings against Microsoft.
But NBC news plays pretty fast and loose with the rules anyway (VT shooter tapes) no matter who they are affiliated with.

MicroSoft , Bill Gates and NBC paired many years ago when NBC launched their cable channel.
