i just find it a little disturbing that (and i know since he was elected by the american public he has every right to speak for that same public) when bush speaks at this little tour thing that he puts it in such terms...."the american public sees fit to send back-up troops to iraq". now that is not the direct qoute but it is the jest of it. why does he not just say the he sees fit to send in more troops instead of pawning his decisions off on the general population? some people may want to send in more troops but however to see the polls and listening ot the public, many do not. these comments by our elected president are just one reason why some many countries do not like americans in general. anyone else agree?

In this country (UK) we used to have ID cards during the war and they were phased out. France have identity cards and don't baulk at having to use them - which is very un-french. So why are we so anti? Is it because we are secretive or clandestine, no, so is it just something else to got hot under the collar about as we haven't had a poll tax riot in a long time. I would like to hear from people as well who have them, what are your views of having them?

Hey everyone, I was just wondering, how many people here think Global Warming really is an issue today that we need to stop? It seems that there still are a lot of people who refuse to believe it, and aren't taking action, like our own PRESIDENT, for example?! I'm just curious to see how many people really want to help prevent it before it's too late. And for everyone: please go to www.stopglobalwarming.org to see more information on it. Thanks sooo much!
