i just find it a little disturbing that (and i know since he was elected by the american public he has every right to speak for that same public) when bush speaks at this little tour thing that he puts it in such terms...."the american public sees fit to send back-up troops to iraq". now that is not the direct qoute but it is the jest of it. why does he not just say the he sees fit to send in more troops instead of pawning his decisions off on the general population? some people may want to send in more troops but however to see the polls and listening ot the public, many do not. these comments by our elected president are just one reason why some many countries do not like americans in general. anyone else agree?

There is no way he can bail on his policies now no matter how moronic they may be. It is pretty clear on the way he has trampled on the constitution and so many horrible things have happened under his watch he does not care what the general public thinks .( New Orleans is still in terrible shape, not one of his priorities) He has a personal agenda and is going to stick to it, just look who his chief advisers are it seems one is worse then the next not to mention the whole religious brigade he has aligned himself with, don't get me wrong if finding god got him to stop using coke I think it is great , but a lot of us have are own beliefs and do not push them on others , I find that as offensive as everything else, and the lying is disgraceful. You want to read a great book on the Iraq war and the problems that are really out there check out Cobra 2. It does not have a political stance, but is very honest and explains very clearly all the mistakes that were made. I really believe history will not be kind to this President. On the other side people are afraid of change when our country is at war. He knows who his supporters are and what they want to hear and that is not going to change. Have a good day , meestograves

I'm with ya. But the shrub is the 'decider who decides' - maybe he should own up to his own words.

The American Public almost assuredly would not back such an action - not that I think that is how the USA should make the decision.

it would be confusing for any of the persons in Washington to vote for something whilst the american human beings have been screaming at them to vote it down. those officers have one loyalty and its to the persons. If the elected officers right here voted for that bill they might probably be dropping extra effective than only their place in Washington using fact human beings right here could have been up in hands. i'm an prolonged time McCain supporter and that i'm bowled over he become in the back of this bill...i choose to be attentive to if he even examine the element using fact he completely did a one hundred eighty in this

Yep. Remember that little to-do over Dan Rather's News report about Bush? Did you know the story was true?
Read the book "Censored." It will really open your eyes.
