I don't think that there are going to BE any Official services, to mark the occasion, and, I MUST say, that, - as I presume YOU will be, (judging by your interest, in this conflict), - I am GREATLY DISAPPOINTED, by the fact! It is a HORRIFYING FACT, but, the FACT is, that, - in its ENTIRITY, - that War, lasted for just SEVENTY-FOUR DAYS, - but cost more than a THOUSAND human lives, - of which, TWO were PERSONAL FRIENDS of mine! So, - even if there are NO such events, to "MARK" the occasion, in an "OFFICIAL" sense, - you can bet your LIFE, that, (as I have done, EVERY YEAR), - on April 2, (when the islands were occupied), and 16 June, (what the islanders, themselves, call "LIBERATION DAY"), I shall be raising a glass or two, in "MEMORY", of those, whose lives were lost! I am an Englishman, - but, I shall do so, to remember the dead, of BOTH sides, in the conflict, - and, I shall do so, with PRIDE, and HONOUR, in my heart! After ALL, the Argentinians, were people, with families, and friends, too!
