Taxes - and it doesn't matter how low the taxes go or how many poor Mexicans you can hire its much cheaper to pray on people from a third world country - use the people and discard them. The American way.
As far as the port problem goes is the Arab world better than the British one - you've had to kick the Brits out before.

I'm sure it's not to avoid an audit and keep corrupt U.S. politicians from being prosecuted.
I'm sure it's because Halliburton feels very patriotic toward Dubai, and that Halliburton executives were brought up believe in truth, fairness, mom, apple pie, and Dubai.
