I am a Chinese that live in Beijing and I am interested to know what do westerners think about this topic. In China, a lot of people are talking about it. Here are the top ten that voters on a internet poll choosed:
(1) Anti corruption
(2) Agriculture
(3) Environmental protection
(4) Lower the unemployment
(5) Education
(6) Economy and industrial development
(7) Health care

Personaly, I think we should work hard on Education and Economy and industrial development. It is because thoses thing will improve the people's lifes and make China strong in a long term.

So, what do you think? This is a open question to everyone, but please respect yourself and others when answering.

P.S. To prove that I realy live in China, the headline of China Daily (the national english newspaper) on march 13,2007 was "Export barriers 'disastrous to firms'.

Should Tony Blair have appeared in a comedy sketch for Comic Relief? Is anyone else slightly appalled by this (if you can be slightly appalled) or is it just confirmation from the horse's mouth that concerning any issues regarding us, the voters and our country he just 'ain't bovvered?'

When the wind of change sweeps through Zimbabwe and democracy prevails...how should they deal with Mugabe and his gang of thugs?....Eliminate them ruthlessly from Zimbabwean society or do the "lets give each other a big hug thing" and and continue on until the next despot bashes and murders his way to control of the country.

Is it possible this is just a way for the jihadi's to attack the security system and make everyone gun shy to take any kind of action when they see some one behaving in a suspicious manner on airplanes. What a monstrously clever way to undermine our safety using our own legal system as a weapon! What think you?

There is such an onslaught of murders and abuse towards our innocent young children. I find myself broken hearted for the parents that will never have a chance to hold their child again. Is there anything that we as a nation can really do to ensure that our younger generation stays safe? I guess I'm at a point where I feel enough is enough, so now where do I go from here, legally??? Can I make a difference?? Can I give a helping hand?? Can we protect our future???

rednose appeal is hosted by many "celebs" who could easily raise the money needed between themselves.do we really need the olympics more than people need life, why not act sensibly and send the 9billion to rednose appeal, just do it once and prob solved.but olympics generates money and greed takes over. london cant cope with the olympics anyway, it will be chaos and on top of 9billion theres the extreeme amount which will have to be spent on security, olympics, a complete waste of money.

The western world feel that it is our responsibility to ensure that everyone on our planet has the same freedom we do. Iraq was controlled by a murdering dictator and now it is not, the people are free yet some muslims claim that it was an attack on their religion. Some say that the war was illegal but surely freedom is worth fighting for? It is the cival war that now exists in iraq that is the problem and this must of been forseen therefore it is now our responsibilty to help the people of iraq towards true freedom. Yet we are hated for this. I cannot see how we are not seen as the good guys

Now that she has sided with the terrorist instead of the US Governmnet are there others that feel she breached her contract with ABC my moral turpetude and should be fired? Her bickering with Trump and encouraging attacks on Bush were bad enough but taking a terrorist side in the final straw. Boycott ABC if they do not get rid of her is what I plan to do. How about You. Are you willing to support nut cases like her against those that are defending this country. I am sure those 3000 people that died in Iraq and almost 3000 that were murdered in the trade center are restless that americans are letting Rosie spread her vennum.

Personally, I prefer the latter because when people hear the “L-word” it evokes horrific images of Cannabis vending-machines alongside lockers in the halls of our nation’s schools, aggressive advertising campaigns targeting young people, every third driver on the highway with cotton-mouth and blood-shot eyes looking at everything but the road, and a surge in chemical dependence amongst the masses and so on. All these are myths fabricated by the people whose careers are dependent on the ever-growing bureaucratic, law-enforcement, and corrections infrastructure which has a 70-year track record of failure with no end in sight.
