False, what would be the advantage to Iran? Sure, he justifyable hates the US, but he's not stupid. Mouthy maybe, but how many times, here and elsewhere do we hear or read, " Death to Iran!" or " "Nuke Iran into the dark ages!" or " Turn Iran into a parking lot.". If we are going to take "name calling" seriously, all nations had best get rid of their Nuclear arms.

Buddy, pretty much every leader makes vows against another country. Every sane human being knows that its practically impossible to destroy a country and even the stupidest of leaders know that.
The aim is just to provoke some dumb people all over the world who react in an instant and we all sit and wonder what actually happened.
May be he really said something like that. One may never know. Its all words. Thats what every leader does - pour piles of words for applauds.
I'm yet to see a true leader who believes in (sane) actions speaking more than words.

interesting innocent query yours. we never know if "true or false" --i.e.relative. you have to define so many elements in your assertion that i will give you a quick answer -- not knowing what "destroy" really is. true, nuclear power destroys material but does not destroy spirits of the survival. that is very important. whether the Iran-ian president is due to come to n.y. --i have no idea and 99 p.cent of the people have no idea. it is not yet official. in summary there is no right or wrong answer to your question. including the president of Iran does not know what he can and can not do with the "power" he has in his hands...in both sense of the word. hope it helps. -- not the Iranian cause...but the cause of intelligent discussion on the issue.
