President Bush thinks so:

President Bush has acknowledged concerns about global warming, but strongly opposes mandatory caps of greenhouse gas emissions, arguing that approach would be too costly.

I live in Slidell, La and was very fortunate- I only had minimal damage. My sister on the other hand was not so lucky- She lives in St. Bernard and is still rebuilding her home. It has been a very long 17 months for her family but think she is just finally starting to feel some relief. I would to hear your rebuilding stories and how has this natural disaster has effected you or your family.

Climate scientists from around the world gathered in Paris this week have announced that there is no question global warming is in fact man-made. My question is, what scares Americans more, the threat of a terrorist attack or global warming?

You liberals are really pathetic examples of Americans. THe soldier was spat upon when he went to demonstrate against the protest. Real brave of you liberals. Real brave. He said on the news HE DIDN'T FIGHT FOR YOUR KIND. He doesn't consider you American and neither do I.

Why is there a genocide in Darfur?

Russia could send peacekeeping troops to the Darfur region in Sudan RIGHT NOW…But won’t
The genocide is on a scale similar to the Jewish Holocaust of Hitler, yet many people say that there is not a "real threat” to us or our country. Darfur is in Sudan and therefore Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir is the local HITLER.
So I repeat my question…

Why is there a genocide in Darfur?

Why in the world would they dress up like they are dressed in the following news article if they were not wanting to be slaughtered? Seems to me that their timing is really askew.

There was a chance for the Dome to become something at last - a Super Casino - but that hasn't happened. Maybe there was a question mark over it with a whiff of scandal over the Prescott dalliance with the American who will be payrolling said project. But for whatever reason, we are once again left with something which cost the taxpayers (US!!!) a lot of money and is not doing anything of impact for this country now. This Government were behind pushing ahead to build the Dome - so how come they haven't done anything with it?

This is a real urgency must do. The general public of UK have to lobby hard and fast to stem the chance of these horrendous places being opened here. I have seen first hand all that comes with them and their destruction of decent people's lives !! One such example was in Melbourne Australia listed as one of the highest problem gambling places in the world. The fringe areas surrounding Melbourne's Crown Casino is peppered with licenced?? Brothels ran by underworld rings who traffick illegal immigrants from Korea andThailand. Hence these poor terrified women are put to "work" to pay off a huge debt to the operators who launder their monies through the casino. It is a massive problem. The State Govt there reaps high revenues from BOTH of these social diseases ! Do YOU in UK want TO PAY!! for having Brothels and drug dealing rings in your locality? Just observe as these awful places crop up in no time, now that one has the green light ! Get together everyone and have them stopped. Fast !!

I've been a bit suspicious about the step up in the space program of recent years, but now a piece of the moon has come off - they're the only ones who've been anywhere near the place...what have they done?

No wonder Bush isn't bothered about global warning... He knows he's done something that means global warming hasn't got enough time to get us....

My god! What is with these countries so pissed off at us? I am a proud American, that was raised to respect all people and all religions, all cultures, If I don't understand someone or something I ask questions, and come to a compromise, But to attack and threaten to do harm, is not in my vocabulary, never has been never will be, Someone please explain to me what he is pissed off about.

have lobbyists turned an unhealthy product, into a seemingly healthy product? i know its bad for colored people, but white man is more lactose tolerant due to our history of milk consumption. I know what we put into milk is bad(BGH) but is the actual milk good for you? does it cause prostate cancer? etc.

Im going to make a bed that has a built in alarm clock that you can set the night before for a certain time, but when it goes off and you shut it off or ignore it for a period of 3 minutes a moderate electric shock will be sent through the bed, forcing you to get out of it. The shock will run for a total of 5 minutes so you will already be forced out of bed and unable to get back into it. I always sleep in so this will the the greatest invention the world has ever seen!!!! does anyone think the same? will people buy it? who likes the idea?

Hunting. Isn't that sad? I got twice as many responses to my hunting question than to my others combined. I asked how I think that hunters have an overwhelming advantage over animals, and I got so many "you don't know what you're talking about" "elks can kill with their antlers" "first you got to find them to hunt them" (I guess they had never heard of bear and deer baiting) answers. Only a few people wanted to chime in on how it seems western press coverage focused more on Israel losses than on Palestinian losses in that conflict, and how the NRA and Mr. Heston gave regular gun owners a bad name. They would rather tell me I don't know anything about hunting and call me names. I'm sorry, but that is really a sorry commentary about American values, don't you think:? That more people care more about killing animals than people killing each other.

There were 100s of Millions of people killed in the past during wars and occupations. Why was only the killings of Jews taken into account? Are not other peoples in the world are human beings?

There is no other way than any responsible human being denying the Holocaust as a Myth. Why dont you now... unless you are an EVIL...?

If Iran invade Iraq, he will make sure that the U.S. forces and the Iraqi people will be protected, Bush also said that he doesn't want to make the same mistake with Iran as he did with Iraq, This statement has made me think that finally He's seeing the big picture and realizing that he has hurt the people of U.S.A. Do you agree? What do you think is going to happen next?
