Im going to make a bed that has a built in alarm clock that you can set the night before for a certain time, but when it goes off and you shut it off or ignore it for a period of 3 minutes a moderate electric shock will be sent through the bed, forcing you to get out of it. The shock will run for a total of 5 minutes so you will already be forced out of bed and unable to get back into it. I always sleep in so this will the the greatest invention the world has ever seen!!!! does anyone think the same? will people buy it? who likes the idea?

I think you should just go to bed earlier so you wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to face the day.

Let me correct you first. This is not an invention. Invention is something you find that the world doesn't know before. You are just applying the already invented techniques.

Moreover, I don't think it is a good idea to give shocks to a person everyday. It can affect that person's brain.

May be a mechanical vibration will be better.

Good idea, but put it in those king size beds that are separated.I don't need to be shocked to get up, but the other person does.I also love the key less car door opener, the best.I feel so safe having the doors open and I can get in quickly.Keep the ideas coming......

I'd buy it! I
thought of an alarm clock that will take your covers off, and then launch you out of bed 5 minutes later!

I think it would be a great idea!!!Although I must say, I think I would be terrified to sleep in that bed!

And if the going gets tough, I would just go and sleep on the couch.

Ok, so it's not that great, but I gained respect for the effort.

Though this could likely solve the problem of sleeping in it would be unlikely that there are enough masochistic tendencies for the average consumer to purchase such an item.

Don't listen to anyone, all of us will give you a different answer and will make you more confuse. I will say just do it, and see what comes out of it. Remember the great inventors, many of them were discourage not knowing they had a great invention in their hands.. GO FOR IT!!!!!

Hmmmmmmmm. Can you make it to shock only one side of the bed? I really don't want to get shocked because my hubby is too lazy to get out of bed in the morning!

NO..it will not sell. It would be too expensive for someone to manufacture that for such a ridiculous service. Keep thinking though, you may come up with a brilliant idea.
