If you'd study the available data you'd see that the "global warming" scare is as false as mood rings or wishing stars. The Earth has been going through these cycles for a long time and this is just part of the natural way the environment continues to maintain balance. We might well not be around to see the end of this phenom, but who cares? To every thing there is a season, and without the Winter, we won't have Spring.
As far as the relative importance, The Iraqis aren't about to end this war, any more than the Irish have ended their little go-down. Third-party interference, in this case the United Nations, makes it impossible for the political situation to stabilize and the "war" must go on. Look at the record. Our own civil uprising was ended primarily by the economic pressure applied by the North, contrary to what the History books credit to General Grant.
Just remember, History is written by Winners.

Global warming might or might not be more important; it's hard to tell at this point. The science is far from clear right now.
And Iran, or some other Islamist crazies (Ahmadinejad qualifies as crazy in my book) could set off a nuclear war and really ruin the climate!
In any case, the Islamists who have dreams of world conquest are not going to stop any time soon, no matter what we do. If we resist the takeover (and we will) it will be impossible for us to pay much attention to the climate at the same time. If we don't resist, we can be sure that the Islamists who take power will have no interest in the control of global warming. Ask Ahmadinejad, Osama, Hamas; ask any of them what their plans are to prevent climate change.
If humans are indeed responsible for the changes in climate, our only hope of reversing it will be to win the war first.

Iraq right now is the most important. Global Warming? what are we supposed to do about it. I have a boat. Why doesnt anybody do with the other polluters? There are parts of China where the pollution is so bad you cant see across the street (LA in the 50 & 60s we cleaned up that problem as much as possible). India, Russia do you think they have an EPA? I doubt it

Global warming is an extremely important issue that America refuses to take seriously. We, as Americans are not willing to give up any conveniences and it will cost us in the end. Other countries around the world have acknowledged the severity of this issue. Bush and the American people are too selfish to care at this point. Global warming is and will continue to have devastating effects. I think that the American people should stop listening to our government and do a little investigating on their own, then they will realize that there are small simple things that everyone can do to help.
So, yes, I do think this is a very important issue that President Bush severely downplays.

Yawn....and in an other 10 years you'll all look back and forget how this nonsense got started. Almost as bad as the Global Ice Age these quack scientists started in the 70's but their "humans are evil" campaign has just done a 180 and the media and their drones are buying into it.

i assume Iraq conflict because it incredibly is a controversy of existence and dying. technologies is in 2nd place -of the techniques. international warming is a rip-off, yet while it cleans up the air and soil/water and create much less use of oil, it incredibly is serving a objective. i'm not saying that there isn't warming, despite if it incredibly is not an instantaneous challenge and scientists are undecided that 'guy' has any actual contribution.

It isn't because what good is rebuilding a country if planet Earth is slowly working its way through doomsday? We should be taking care of the planet first, then go ahead and take care about other countries. Waiitt..we shouldnt even be butting into other countries! Psh..like the President cares!

Global warming is definitely more important. the war in Iraq will end, the global warming will continue forever. it is easy to control "one war" -- it is difficult to effectively "control the world." hope it helps.

It's more of an URGENT concern. if that's what you mean. Global warming presents long term problems.

Yes of course who cares if we get a couple of degrees hotter. Just keep the Iraq war heated up with our nice little war thrashing it out over there. You realize how it would be if we had that war going on over here don't you? BB
