I was 17 yrs. old and was just waking up when the alarm sounded, i had it set on the radio. As i was laying in bed i heard something about the "Towers". I jumped out of bed and ran into my mom's room to see the t.v. she was still asleep i woke her up and shouted to her, "look". I was so overwhelmed with emotions. I was 5 months pregnant and was glad that for that moment i could protect my child as i thought of all the parents who couldn't protect their children from this deeply dark day in American History...Even though i live in Southern California i felt as though my heart was in NYC...

As the 5yr. anniversary comes up i was wondering where you were and what were you doing when you learned that America would never be the same?????

Is it really a felony to go dumpster diving? They were arrested in Colorado. Honestly, sometimes I see something in local dumpsters and walk right up and take it. I don't make it a habit but if I happen to see it I figure 'hey, it's going to the dump, therefor it's up for grabs'.
I live in Massachusetts and I don't know the laws that govern dumpsters. I do know this, our land fill allows 'picking' in various areas. i.e.: computers, metal, magazines, wood, newspaper...
I use to work for the Troy Build company and I was the forklift driver who took trash and dumped it into the dumpster. I coult take all kinds of parts and motors. Anyway, I'm not worried just curious.

Thanx a bunch!

If so, then why is lebanon asking the western world for aid to rebuild lebanon, why don't they ask their Iranian and syrian brothers to put their money where their mouth is? or was all that rebuilding talk just propaganda?

I saw on CNN that IRAN wanted to have a debate with the USA. That's what "diplomacy" on some levels is all about, right? Why would that commentator say it was a silly idea? Is he a confused commentator? Perhaps he(the commentator) is like the administrators of the USA looney bin systems.... all messed up..... with their inability to see a clear route for peace. I don't know maybe they are all working for the DEFENSE contractors and they'd rather sell more bombs and missiles as compared to books.

Brought to you by the "debates not wars club" and so as to say : FREEDOM CALLS.
Also by in part sponsored by the "bombs for books campaign". And referenced by "the guns for guitars campaign".

I'd rather sell "bomb seiten" and "killer sodas" at the debate rather than sell bombs that immobilize children, cappish. (I hope you can catch the "bomb" slang) ~ WAV

It is strange that the Un wants to check for war crimes in soutnern lebanon but does not want to look into the actions of Hezbollah. Once again the people of Israel are being abused by the world community of natins. Kofi needs to get out of the UN before December. He is too concrerned about his payoffs and not the good of Israel and lebanon.

I was at the Louisiana Superdome before and during Hurricane Katrina. On a few instances, I had my photo taken by professional photographers for some press agency. I have yet to see these photos in any books, on TV, or on any internet site.

Is there a repository somewhere that I can do a search for my pictures? I would like to have a copy of them for my personal record?

For that matter, any that have been re-built or even repaired. All we hear is that there is so much progress being made in Iraq. Humm..well we know that the US bombed or otherwise destroyed or damaged many schools and hospitals in Iraq. And I mean, if one is RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH ACTIONS,. then it would stand to reason that they would stand prepared to CORRECT such actions. But where is the proof that our tax dollars have really taken care of such destruction. Our government wants more "positive" news coming out of Iraq.
Well then. Prepare a docuimentary. A story. A book; Something!
Anything!
Show me a new Iraqi school.
Show me a new Iraqi hospital
Show me a new public works facility.
Show me thousands of homes that can boast the availability of electricity more than "two on, two off hours a day"
Show me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
