It is strange that the Un wants to check for war crimes in soutnern lebanon but does not want to look into the actions of Hezbollah. Once again the people of Israel are being abused by the world community of natins. Kofi needs to get out of the UN before December. He is too concrerned about his payoffs and not the good of Israel and lebanon.

Why did the UN sit on the border and watch Hezbollah dig all those bunkers, stockpile rockets and then fire them! If they had spoken out this conflict might well not have happened.

When the UN post was hit Annan immediately put out a statement saying it was a deliberate strike by Israel. Was that a demonstration of considered thinking?

The UN statements during the conflict made it look anything but independent and fair and often anti Israeli.

Having got a ceasefire on the basis of putting in a large security force they find they cannot supply half of what they promised!
The force will not be allowed to disarm Hezbollah in the border area and can only return fire so what will stop Hezbollah doing it all over again?

Sadly the UN is looking very bad and fast loosing any credibility. Annan is increasingly looking less than in dependant, tired and desperate, is it not time that he stepped down and handed over to someone who can do a better job?

If the UN looks into war crimes committed by Israel and finds none, Israel will be cleared of the accusations.
Can Israel get a fair hearing? That's another question.

The UN is antisemitic and always has been. This group thinks the only one who could have done war crimes is Israel. Hezbollah the Islamic terrorist organization commits war crimes by its very existence.

Because Hezbollah are not an official organisation in Lebnanon, as a result they would never allow the UN to find them in the first place much less let them check for war crimes.

One statement here is so untrue. Someone said the UN has always been anti-Semitic. Who was it that voted Israel into being? Wasn't that the UN?

The U.N. sucks. It is just a bunch of spies that charge America and her Allies more than everyone else for services.
They are useless in my book, so I would have to say they got paid or have other interests that made this happen.
