I was at the Louisiana Superdome before and during Hurricane Katrina. On a few instances, I had my photo taken by professional photographers for some press agency. I have yet to see these photos in any books, on TV, or on any internet site.

Is there a repository somewhere that I can do a search for my pictures? I would like to have a copy of them for my personal record?

I also do not know who took the photo. It was myself and 3 other people walking down the street outside the Superdome and someone from press was there taking pictures. The guy stopped taking pictures of the line and took pictures of us walking along the line. We didn't have time to stop to ask for his business card. We were kind of busy.

You can search the news wire services for your photo. The primary source where I would begin is the associated press.

You would have to know the person's name or the agency they worked for. It is possible that they didnt submit the picture and could have deleted it. No fault of yours, bad light, water damage, fingers, etc

Did the photog ask for your permission to take the picture and make you sign a release?
If not, then he wasn't for real.
