English society seems geared to giving everyone their fifteen minutes of fame and this has undermined the belief that people have in the sincerity of many things. When Diana died however, the outpouring of feeling can be attributed to nothing less than a people who found in Diana a symbol of the care that society should have for all its people. Critics have frowned on her taste for expensive dresses and supposed self-aggrandisement but lots of people remember how she held AIDS victims. <>

Never will she be forgotten, many of us watched that magnificent wedding to Prince Charles on TV and followed her exploits via the media, also her brother has set up a memorial on land that the family owns. She'll live forever in the hearts of those who were there when she was alive.

Never forgotten. She died within hours of the birth of my first Grand child and I drove to London sad and happy at the same time.

It's sad when anyone one dies but she was nothing special to me I didn't bat an eye when her accident happened as all Royalty and those associated with them are no more than leeches.
