I just learned that Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, was killed by a stingray barb while shooting an underwater documentary. It's so sad! I know I'm not alone in saying I admired him so much, and enjoyed watching his "crazy" interactions with all those animals. He will be so missed.

I am watching "Inside the World Trade Center" on the discover channel.........is anyone else amazed at the coincidence with people on those flights? They just showed an Army officer who survived the Pentagon hit only to find that his little boy, he was about 10, was on the flight that hit the Pentagon...on his was to CA to represent his school in a National Geographic Ecology thing......or the two best friends from childhood, on the two seperate flights that hit the twin towers.....those are only two of them but there have been a lot....people that were stuck in traffic and didn't make it to work that day.....people having an odd sense and staying home from work in the towers that morning.....you realize that at any given moment they believe 60,000 people were in those buildings....but we only lost roughly 3000....Thank God!

That contract to build space station was based on merit and lowest price, and not political plum given to good contributers. Believe it was some division of Lockeed Martin, that sent millions down the cannel by using English measuring units instead of Standard American. Go George weward your bumbling followers. Can't wait for first screw-up on Moon and reason to stop project billion went into.

Steve Irwin – the Australian TV adventurer best known as the "Crocodile Hunter" – has been killed by a stingray. This guy was perceived to be beyond "insane" and "magically invincible" at the same time!

I guess it's sadly apparent now, that perception is "NOT" always reality, nevertheless his zany- genius will be sorely missed..he was indeed one of a kind!

The carrying his newborn under his arm while dangling a piece of raw meat in front of a ravenous beast set the Media ablaze and questions about his menrtal stability soared! But ... he contiued on until today.

He seemed like such a good guy and he certainly provided me with plenty of laughs.

Steve Irwin, otherwise known as 'the Crocodile Hunter,' was killed Monday by a stingray. He is survived his wife and two children. =(

Ther ARE positive things happening in this world. Why does the media focus so on the negative? It's the same with the newspaper and tv news.

What the hell?! My heart sank when I read it. And yet, I had absolutely no emotional reaction to Europe's crash moon-landing. And how exactly is "Russia remembers deadly school attack" more important than "Steve Irwin killed by stingray"? Steve Irwin was like, practically immortal. Since when is remembering a year-old news story more important than this? Steve Irwin died today! Am I the only one that realizes the grandeur of this freaking story? STEVE. IRWIN.

OMFG!!!!
