Uh - yeah. If not then what would we do for police and military?
What would we do with without firefighters, and airline pilots, and lifeguards, and so many other jobs that have hazzards?
You have to understand that if someone, who has a family that also has a dangerous job, goes without support - then you may as well just die because a part of them WOULD be dead. His wife loved him - supported him - and even ventured with him.
She knew the risks as well as he did.

A person cna be killed doing anything not just working. driving out of your yard you can be hit and killed or seriously hurt. Although some jobs are more dangerous than others. I guess it's up to that person.

News Flash: Anyone with any kind of a job can be injured or worse at any time, regardless of their age, whether or not they have a family, or whatever. No one is guaranteed they will be safe from all harm no matter what they do for a living.

People with families should work at something they love that will support their families. If this involves possible loss of life, then that is their choice and they really need their families support.

No they should not but often people do not get get the kind of easy-going job that they dream of. So, if you are jobless and really short on money you don.t have a choice........ do you? Besides, someone has to do the dangerous jobs too!!!!
