what do you think will happen if america stopped waging war on iraq?

We're not waging war on Iraq. We're waging war aginst Islamic jihadism. Iraq is the battlefield. If the Iraquis felt we were waging war on them, why would they risk life and limb to co-operate in the voting and construction of a new government? A greater percentage of them voted than has ever voted in America. If we pull out than we will betray them and all those who have so far fought and died for them. We will have condemn them to death as so many millions of Vietnamese were when we pulled out of Viet Nam prematurely.
Fortunately this will not happen. Say what you like about Bush, but he is not stupid enough to allow this country to lose another war. He will not pull out until the job is done no matter how much ranting and raving liberals and peaceniks do.

If America stops right now? New dictators, new thugs (like Sadaam) will rise and take over the country again. Hezbolah and such groups will take power (political and likewise) to control the people again and treat them like ants - no, less than ants.
America freed the people from a rotten, tyrannical regime and the people need to rise and proclaim the freedom that they have. They need to take advantage of it, have pride in it and in themselves. They need to arise and govern themselves and democracy can flourish there in Iraq.
America has stopped raging war on Iraq (the previously bad government and it's power hungry rulers), now America is helping the people to become a true nation on their own terms!

Iraq will become involved in a civil war between shites and sunias that will go on for years...Iran which is prodomantely shite will invade in support of the shites and then take over Iraq. Iran will try to dominate the middle east and force their agenda and influence in the area.
Iranian state sponsored terrorism will increase against the west and Iran will try to destroy Israel.
