Could a person call the police information desk 12 times one day, then call the police information desk the next day 12 times without getting into trouble? Keep in mind that each time you call, you are asking real legit questions. And also keep in mind that the same person will be answering each time you call. How many calls can you make before this person answering the phone becomes angry and sends the police out to your house?

I seen many answers blaming the Lebanese goverment for Hezbollah's actions. Let me give you some facts, and then you decide.

Hezbollah started in 1982 as a result of Israel's invasion of South Lebanon in the late 70's. During 18 years, it grew stronger and stronger despite Israel's many attempts to weaken them. In the year 2000, Israel retreated form South Lebanon.
However Syria remained in the country, and supplied Hezbollah with various weapons, such as rockets and missiles. Syria's presence in Lebanon was ended in the year 2005 after heavy pressure from the U.N and the Cedar Revolution, accomplished by Lebanese patriots, who were tired of seeing their country enslaved by the Syrian goverment.
However, Hezbollah was now stronger than ever, even stronger than the Lebanese military. Now, in the July 2006, Israel starts slaughtering innocent Lebanese citizens, accusing the lebanese goverment of not controling Hezbollah.

Do you still think it's the Lebanese goverment's fault?

Some people posted the site showing the war that is currently happening between Israel and Lebanon. It showed photos of all the victims, who are innocent children and citizens. And the reaction was, they had it coming, and calling them terrorist. Is this what man kind has become. Nothing but hearless beings filled with hatred?

I am against the killing of ANY human, especially civilian and regardless of their race, religion, sex, age etc...
But from my point of view, I look at what happened to the poor jews, europeans, arabs and other races during WWII, how they were mercilessly killed by the nazis. A crime against humanity, against reasoning. But that was 50 years ago.
And now, what do we have? The same people that were prosecuted and tortured have now settled in a land that was no longer theirs. They kicked away people from their homes and took it for theirs, they have killed thousands of palestinians and now are destroying Lebanon completley by killing civilians, bruning bridges, airprot etc... Isn't that genocide and crime? Bare well that i am not freeing the other side of guilt. its a war and both sides have done wrong. But if Israel is as civilized as it claims to be, can its actions against the pal. and lebanese be justified? to burn a country to the ground for the kidnapping of 2 soldiers is bad.

We haven't done it for 30 years, but gas prices are sky-high. Wouldn't it make sense to drill in the US? We could do it in a nature friendly way.

Is Israel a civilized country? For 2 kidnapped soldiers, they brought Lebanon to the ground, a militarily weak country.
Hizbullah is an INDEPENDANT fraction of the lebanese gvt, no one in Lebanon can control them, and their stupid action had Israel kills innocents, destroy the airport, bridges etc..
But worst of all, Israel teaches its kids that killing innocent civilans is a good thing. You don't believe me? Well, check the link below then.
WATCH OUT: VERY goary pictures, but I suggest you go in and see what Israel is doing. Ask yourselves how a "civilized" country like Israel can do such things without any remorse, ask yourselves how the US and other nations are doing NOTHING to stop the killing of babies and children.
I am not against the killing of terrorists, but why do the innocents have to die? Doesn't this make the israeli army and gvt officials as terorrist as al qaeda? ask yourselves instead of solely relying on what cnn says.

Think about it, and you thumb-sucking LIBERALS at least try to understand this basic lesson I am giving you free of charge. The USA refused, thank God (yes, LIBERALS, He does exist!), to allow its southern states to live under the threat of Soviet missiles in Cuba. When Olmert addressed Parliament yesterday, he hit the nail right on the head when he said, "Israel will not agree to live in the shadow of the threat of missiles or rockets against its residents." Someone want to tell me difference here? Hezbollah and their terrorist sponsors (we all know who they are) have had more than ample opportunity to shape up and be a part of the solution for peace in that part of the world. They have not only rejected those chances, but have been building massive arsenals that are now being used. Israel is not a big country area-wise, so the threat posed is even GREATER to them than the USA faced in '62. If terrorists continue to fire from cities, there can be no mercy shown. It is SELF-DEFENSE!

Dear yahoo friends!
Israel is no more only defending itself, it is not only bombing hizbullah, it is bombing the whole of Lebanon, my beloved country, where my parents and my loved ones are now living in fear and disarray.
Please join me in a prayer, in your own language, in ur own belief, to stop the war on Lebanon, killing hundreds of people everyday...
