Under the current circumstances (war in the Middle East)… should the United States reconsider drilling for oil in the Artic National Wildlife Refuge or invest in renewable technologies (like solar and wind energy) to keep America’s lights on and cars moving?

Your Associated Press news pictures make Israeli look like monsters when they were actually attacked and are defending them selves - it's disgraceful! You could at least try to appear non-biased but I guess you prefer the world be devoured my extreme fanatics like the ones that killed 3000 people in New York City!

Not all Americans are hillbillies with southern drawals and ignorant about world news, geography, and culture. Not all Americans are like southerners or Californians and not all are religious zealots.

Most europeans should be so lucky that the laws require not working over 40 hours a week, a mandatory one month vacation, in some countries: siesta, and not getting taken advantage of (yet) by their governments and corporations.

are actually living and working in and enjoying the freedoms of the U.S. It seems everyone out there has a hatred toward the U.S. yet will do anything within their power to get here. Am I wrong? (Not that I'm expecting 100 percent honest answers).

She is the US secretary of state, she should've cancelled all her appointments and flown out there as soon as it became apparent the situation was as bad as it is. Why is she still not going out until Friday?

Is it because the US deliberately wants to let Israel cause some damage to hezbollah before interfering? Or am I reading too much into it, is she genuinely too busy and that's the soonest she can go out?

this isn't meant to be anti-muslim. I just find it interesting that Islamism is involved in so many conflicts around the globe.

Will we feel a shake of some sort, will buildings fall down, or something? Its a really neat idea, but I want to know if it will even make a dent.

Ann always claims to look like a super model, so I was wondering...can she out-think one?

(And does anyone except Ann see what she sees in the mirror?)

I was amazed. Channel 4 had two minutes showing bridges and roads bombed in Lebanon and mentioned 200 civilians were killed as Israeli planes sought out Hezboulah (like it was okay) Then they showed 5 minutes of Israeli women and children scared out of their minds racing for air raid shelters to escape the cold killing machine of the Arab terrorists (Arabs are always terrorists, and "gunmen" ) There were faces, emotions, real people here in this second report.

This is so typical of the way our press and networks report the conflict.

When did the U.S. press become spokespeople for only one side of the conflict ?

Newt Gingrich, Former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, told The Seattle Times, "This is World War III". He commented on NBC's "Meet the Press" "We're in the early stages of what I would describe as the Third World War."

Which countries besides Israel and Lebanon will become involved and why?
