She is the US secretary of state, she should've cancelled all her appointments and flown out there as soon as it became apparent the situation was as bad as it is. Why is she still not going out until Friday?

Is it because the US deliberately wants to let Israel cause some damage to hezbollah before interfering? Or am I reading too much into it, is she genuinely too busy and that's the soonest she can go out?

Hmm, I hadn't considered that she might be planning strategy an gathering info, but still, she's an intelligent woman with a lot of aides and resources, does she really need a whole week to come up with something to say to each side?

I think she's gathering information and preparing strategy. There is a lot of prep work to do before stepping into a situation like that in Lebanon and Israel, and I'm glad she's taking the time to prepare herself for a very difficult assignment. I wish her the best in her endeavors.
