Shell is totally on the money. There can be no doubt in anyones mind the absolute hatred the leaders of Iran and Syria have for Israel, and for the United States because we support Israel. For those western countries who care nothing about the injustice and inhumanity of the holocaust, or have no regard for the Word of God regarding Israel, then consider this one fact; You are safe for the time being because of your numbers. Israel by comparison is very small therefore muslim extremists think easy to eliminate. If you think that muslims would spare you in their "holy war" you are fools. Abandon Israel and let it be defeated. Let Iran obtain nuclear weapons, then Syria, and see what happens. There is one simple detail that could lead to peace in the region and the world right now. Muslims need to worship God in whatever way they choose and allow others to do the same. They need to recognize that the Creator of this universe deemed to give man free will to choose what to believe, even if it is wrong. They need to recognize the sovereignty of Israel and keep peace with them. If they can not do this then it will result in war the likes of which they never imagined, and it will be a world war. That would make this the first stages of that war. Show me you aren't insane Islam. Show me human life is worth more to you than to destroy it because of your intolerance of the beliefs of others.

Well, Isreal, being a Jewish community, started building thier military shortly after WW2, with everyone else in the region being predominatly Muslim, this is actually a very bad, and good thing. In the 60's, Egypt was one of the strongest militaries/countries in the region, they tried to run up in Isreal, and got thier a$$es handed to them on a silver platter. Isreal has a very very powerful country, and their soldiers are some of the best in the world, and they have the best of military equpiment, from acroos the world, they have our Paladin howitzer, MLRS launchers, F-16's F-18's, Abrams tanks, Apache helicopters, not to mention no less than possibly 100 nuclear weapons. If this escalates to a major conflict, then most likely they will remove Syria, Iran, Palistein and any other country from the earth. Look at the last week, they pretty much brought Lebanon to it's knees, destroying food, water and power plants, these people know how to fight and don't care about killing civilians like we do, which is why we are still in Iraq 4 years later, if it had been Isreal they would have probably nuked Iraq already. Dark days are difenatly ahead of us, with N. Korea shooting that missile, Iran possibly making nukes, Isreal fixing to mop up the whole mid-east, our on-going debackle in Iraq, things are ripe for a real bad next decade or so.

Let's hope Iran and Syria convince Hezbollah to retreat before Israel does crush them.
If it's a world war, then most of the world will be involved. That's the definition of a world war, I think.

Both the US and Israel are chomping at the bit for an excuse to waste Iran and syria, and they have the POWER, so unless the rest of the world can apply enough pressure it looks bad for Lebanon. Unfortunately, Gingrich and other right wing extremists would (will?) love it.

Iran and syria has given them plenty of reasons to waste them.
No one wants an all out nuclear war.
Isreal could have nuked them years ago and hasn't
They have definitely given them plenty of reasons.
Everyone has bent over backwards to keep peace in the middle
east. They are the ones who insist on war. Not Isreal
We live in a very scarey situation and the arabians won't back away until they bring the earth to a third world war. I just hope they are the first to go. They want it so bad. Then they can all go to heaven or so they think. To destroy the world they think they will all go to heaven for that?

Iran and Syria are smart enough to not butt in and Israel knows that if they launch a pre-emptive strike against Iran or Syria they will be dragged into **** that USA can't save them....and Israel will be blamed for the conflict....cuz sure Iran claimed Israel should be wiped off the map...Israel actually tried to wipe Iran off the map

Hopefully Israel would be able to take out the Hezbollah cult without the need to endanger the lives of Israeli ground troops.

If this thing keeps escalating every country in the Middle East will
get caught up in it,not to mention the major Western powers.
The reason is primarily oil,as always.

Well this is what Bush had to say to the crisis in Middle East..
"Israel can defend itself, but it must face the consequences"
I do think its a beginning of WW3 if US gets involved..

They will send fighters in as proxys. Not in uniform, so as to avoid direct implication, and direct retaliation from Israel, because they aren't strong enough at this point to take on Israel, and their atomic weapons aren't ready yet
