The government hasn't even given the Red Cross / Red Crescent permission to go in to help. From what I read, it may be Thurs. or Fri. before they will be allowed in. I really doubt that anyone else will be going in any time soon.

Are you serious? Hopefully the Flood will wash away the Nuclear Missles and the nutcase who is running that country..
I don't want to see any other human being suffer but maybe this is God telling the North Korean people to straighten up and topple their dictator..Remember..we reap what we sow..
Unless you have a death wish ,,,I'd forget the idea of going to North Korea...My ex-husband served in South Korea for a year and told me horror stories of how the North Korean military and government kill and torture their own people..Imagine what they would do to some do gooder Americans...if you want to make the world a better place try doing something good for the people who need it in this country..Remember...New Orleans is still a disaster area...Charity begins at home....

No. The people are starving and they don't let volunteers in. They had a deadly train wreck and they didn't let volunteers in...ok, maybe volunteers from China....

But meanwhile, it's a well known fact that North Koreans are starving because of one greedy, egomaniacal ruler.

They couldn't take the chance that an outsider might actually reveal to the people that we have gone to the moon; cars are not science fiction; bread comes in slices, and electricity is not just for the "Party members". No, they won't let you help. How can you keep them on the farm, once they have seen the big city!?

No, they would not. Remember: This is a country in which the government let thousands of people died of starvation rather than let in international help.
