Well it sounds like, AFTER A WEEK, they are going to use some Greek(?) criuse ships to help move people out. With the state of the world and phanton terror cells everywhere, there would be no way in hell I would get on one of those boats. Cheney needs a new pair of shoes, boats are floating targets and could look like dollar signs floating in the water to this admin. I'd take my chances staying put for a while. It is going to look like the FEMA fiasco all over again.

Is that Bush's job? I dont know about you, but thats not why I helped elect the man. Now if you would have worded the question differently it would make more sense and make you less looking like a Bush hater. Its the job of the state departement with support of the defense departement.

Lets see, 25K americans living in a hot spot like Lebanon, and people expect thier government to react immediatly when something happens. Is this Katrina all over? The U.S. government is our mommies and daddies, right.. Those people are not adults, making adult decisions or anything. They are mear children, being ever so dependent on their parents (government). Those people cannot function without uncle sam, can they.

Those dumb asses want to live overseas, well dont expect others to jump thru hoops for your own f' ups.

We'll get to it when we can. So shut up.

I know we have the capability of getting our citizens out of harms way. I am extremely concerned that the US and Israel are scheming another fake attack on US citizens in order to get more popular support from the American people. I am just waiting for a newsflash that "terrorists" destroyed a rescue mission trying to get our citizens out. I have a bad feeling about why they have not yet been evacuated. Somethings up.

being the most hated leader in the world... i dont think bush has done enough within these last 8 years. i think all the wrong roads were taken. there are just too many fatalities in this fight to consider it a "success in the middle east" as ive heard him say in either his last speech or the speech before that.

I don't understand why this is Bush's or the USA's responsibility. If you go to an area of the world that is unstable, you've got to be prepared for the fact that you might get caught up in violence.

Personally I don't think it's Bush's fault, but I don't think that America is doing enough at ALL to help. People can talk all they want, but what it comes down to is, people just want to get out, which means people need to take charge and do their jobs to helpp those people.
