Of course they are. The coverage is ridiculous. Who cares if he said s***?!?!?! They should be taking the coverage time to address his war crimes and those of Israel instead of filling American minds with this crap and other insignificant issues. The sad thing is that most Americans are dumb enough to still believe and are entertained by this crap.

The Media is making too big a deal of it, but it is big news because the Republican party runs on 'character matters' and use of profanity is a gauge of character.
I always heard that a person that uses profanity is limited in their vocabulary and embarrasses themselves when using it. That is no news: Bush is less competent than probably all other Presidents of the United States.
It is an interesting mirror on the interest of the American People. The news is thrown on the people and what is rejected by them is not reported as much. What is accepted, bought by them is heaped on even more and this gaff is one of the kinds of things that brings RATINGS! It is really titillating to hear what you were not meant to hear, especially from the President.
It is a really sad commentary that this story is the biggest story out of the summit! Imagine if the President had revealed something really new like racism, anti-semitism or that he really prefers men sexually! LOL

I agree it wasn't a big deal and I don't see the media "left" or otherwise showing Bush in a negative light or it.

You Sir ( i'm assuming that you're male) are an insensitive clod, like myself, for without delay assumed that the monkey represents the monkeys in Congress and their monkey business enterprise (like I did). For shame on both one individuals for no longer having the intelligence to anticipate a racist slant on that comic without delay. after all a dull monkey shot by technique of a policeman and the different officer asking who will write the different stimulus bill ought to no longer propose some thing else. for shame Edit "you've under no circumstances heard racists call black human beings monkeys? uncertain. That comic became certainly disgusting, in my view. " Wow - so it became fantastic to portray former Pres.Bush as a monkey in protecting including his perspectives and movements? yet to finish that with Pres.Obama is a no no? Why? You anticipate a racist slant to the caricature because it confirmed a monkey shot with the police officer asking who became going to jot down the subsequent stimulus bill i do no longer anticipate a racist slant to the caricature by using officer asking who is going to jot down the subsequent stimulus bill. Why? Congress became the only bickering on the stimulus bill. Pres.Obama became the fellow who signed and qualified it. If the caricature had the officer say "who's going to signal the subsequent stimulus bill", then sure, i'd say that the caricature is racist. yet because it stands, the only individual who's conscious precisely what the reason being behind the caricature is the artist. each and everything else that each and each and every individual is putting forward is an assumption. which incorporates my personal personal opinion.

Yes, the media is making too big a deal. Their job is to get media share or readers, not report the news so they will use whatever titillates their fancy

He's human. I think he's intitled to speak his mind a bit. It isn't that he said the S word that bothers me, its the fact that he was talking about doing to Syria what the US did to Iraq. We haven't finished in Iraq yet, we can't worry about Syria.
Still, I think he's human, and the press almost demands that he has to be perfect. I don't think saying the S word is a big deal.

Yes, I do agree. Why the grab onto nonsense like this is beyond me. There are so many more important things going on than replaying that over and over again.

in typical media fashion, it was reported that he 'cursed hezbollah' when he was only using it for emphasis
