Do what is RIGHT and take out the trash, wherever it may be is a good START, but there will never be peace entirely. What one must do is KILL and minimize the terrorist riff-raff.

The answer has always been the same for over 12000 years of human history.
Before anything can really change we, all of us, have to change our way of thinking.
First, we are all human beings. Yes, there are Americans, Spanish, French, Indians, Pakistani's, Egyptians, Chinese, Korean, Mexicans, Canadians, and so many more.
We have to find a way, that every living person can embrace, that allows each of us to celibrate our own life and the life of every other person in spite of our differences.
I know this sounds simplistic but actually it is both hard and simple. The forces of time, history, and personal experience always impact our thoughts, words, and actions.
To paraphrase a saying, we are all only "6 degrees away" from knowing every living soul on our planet.
So, perhaps if we start small and try to learn one new thing about the 6 folks we are closest to each day something incredible could happen.
Regards

i cant even believe u r asking this question if u r an american and really want world peace i cant understand how u re-elected bush the liar and human criminal and the one staeling ur money, taxes, killing ur soldiers for what so called war on terrorism.any nation fighting for its freedom against occupation is not terror.the terror is supressing this resistance and freedom of nations to decidetheir fate, this is the first UN clause i think.world peace can be acheived when america doesnt put vito on any humane decision that UN mi ght take (which happens rarely)and by not supporting israel to kill innocents in palestine and lebanon .i cant beleive an di dont know how any one can beleive that israel claiming all that power is afraid of the resistance forces so it commited all the crimes against humanity. i also cant understand why israel has the right not to fulfill any UN resolution but every other country who doesnt must undergo israel punishment and massacres ...when u understand these maybe u can start figuring out how to make world peace....start with urselves americans and know who u bring to rule u and destroy you ...

I have news for you...we as Americans will not be able to establish world peace and we are foolish to think that we can do something no one's been able to do for thousands of years. The world has been at war in one form or another since the human race has populated it. The current middle east situation with Israel and Lebanon is a prime example; that part of the world has been at war with one another in one form or another for 2000+ years. The human race is warlike in nature in that there are always going to be those people who covet what their neighbor possesses and will fight to take it. We aren't going to magically wave a wand and solve the world's problems overnight, and it is the height of arrogance to think that we can.
The only way to minimize (you note I said "minimize", not "stop") warlike behavior is to promote and encourage governmental systems that are free from tyranny and promote freedom and self-rule. As you can see from the current war in Iraq and Afghanistan, eventually conflicts can be minimized, but never totally eliminated, because there will always be those non-conformists out there who will always want what the other guy has, or want to destroy what the other guy has. We can't help ourselves; as a race, no matter what we have, we desire more than what we currently have.
That's why I am amused by liberals who desire "world equality", because it will never happen. We don't want to be equal to the next guy; we want to be BETTER....richer, stronger, more successful, more powerful...and we want our God to be proven better than the other guy's God...that's why some of these crazy people are willing to blow themselves and others away to do just that.
It's not the answer you want, but it's the right one.

We don't make peace very well. While I don't think we are an aggressor, we are much better at waging war than establishing peace.
Besides, most of the people fighting have been fighting for thousands of years already, so why should we be the party poopers?

shoot me if im wrong... but is "Pax Americana" still around? for those of you that dont know what that is, it means "world peace under the leadership of USA without any other opposition power" or something like that... i'd say there would be world peace if that happens or if there was more love for life in the world...

by beginning to do what we preach. We try to stop all these other places from getting nukes, but we have more than anyone else. If we would start to dismantle ours, maybe they would be more likely to dismantle theirs. This world would be way more peaceful without nukes. By the way, your cute
