The 'yobs' who broke the windows were aged between 12 & 14 - the age these books and films are aimed at. Are they yobs or simply have more decerning literary taste? Or maybe... in fairness to Ms Rowning, were making a comment about the shameless, some may say 'exploitative' 'merchandising' of a book they loved?

I find it funny that people are experts on the war....when they have never been to the country or served the war? How can you truly know what is going on when you have not been there? George Bush- a lier! The REAL story behind the trade towers. Want to know?
George Bush started all these problem's with Islam. The Islamic community did not do anything, that is why there is war continuing on this very day. I live in the UK, and I have a documentary that was banned in the USA because it reveals- 1. There was bombs planted on the twin towers because George Bush's brother wanted to steal possessions of the bank. Underneath the twin tower that was blown up was 60Million Dollars worth of gold. On a security camera footage it showed George Bush's brother in a pick-up van coming out of the twin tower once it had exploded. If a plane crashed into a building, it wouldnt kill the whole building, George Bush planted the bombs and blamed the Islamic community. And it wasnt only the trade towers. It was about 7-11 more building that collapsed the same day. JEFF BUSH PLANTED BOMBS ON THE BUILDINGS!

What really has been acheived by eliminating Sadam? Is Iraq and the world a better place now? Have any countries learnt any lessons?
I am optimistic and feel there may be minor battles for show of power between countries but the human race can not afford another world war and there wont be one. (No thanks to UNO on this front - I don't mean to take anything away from the great relief work it is doing in many under developed countries but it really has not solved any international political problems) But if there happens to be a world war soon (Bush in my opinion is spoiling for one) and (in the unlikely scenario) if USA loses will then Bush be called another Hitler or worse?

If another muslim or arab is removed from a plane, there should be a march on washington. What I find most offensive is that everyone says it's justified because a handful of a group numbering around a billion at last count have commited terrorist acts. Why isn't everyone seeing the next tim mcveigh in every white guy in a govt. bldg? Why didn't we start bombing the hell out of sparsely populated white states? The unabomber for nearly 2 decades, rudolph and the '96 olympics and the hundreds of abortion clinic explosions. For someone reason individual white people were held responsible instead of an entire group but being the racist psychos americans are had no problem trying to exterminate a group of people. I usually don't believe tabloid gossip, but I recently saw the cover of one that said The Prez and the First lady are headed for a split. As a former 10yr resident of Washington DC, this is not the first time I've heard this rumor. A very reliable source, even heard one of the Bush Twins complain about her parents marriage, hoping for a divorce herself.If this were true, how would it make you feel about his presdency and him as a person?
