Well I think Barbara Walters probably was the best as she 'created' almost the role of co anchor. And I liked her teamed with Hugh Downes.

I think Matt Lauer and Meredith Viera have the makings of a good anchor team, but I've noticed Meredith hasn't been there for the past few days.

Couldn't stand Bryant Gumbel,of all the Today anchors he was the most arrogant.
